Summary: worth reading, but not as good as kiss the girls.
Review: I am ready for for another cross book. this one(cat and mouse) was so how disappointing, especially the love scence between christine and cross,as well as the pierce character. I need more edgy stories :romance between cross and a white girl would have made the story as good as Kiss the girls and along came a spider, because america is still not okay with interracial love stories.so Mr. patterson write more of those controversial love stories in your book.still a worthy book to read.

Summary: Great story but leave mama and the kids out of it next time
Review: Excellent story. Loved it. But please leave Nana mama and those "lovely" kids out of it next time. They are starting to get on my nerves.

Summary: Not worth the reading. 8th grade reading level.
Review: I was extremely disappointed. He had a great story and plot. But Patterson was extremely boring with those love scenes. WHO CARES about Alex Cross' love life. If I wanted to read a love story I would buy a Jackie Collins' sleazy novel. Patterson also rambled on and on with descriptions of the elements. Again, not suitable for a suspense novel.

I believe his best work is still Kiss the Girls. Come on Patterson, we know you can do it. Please write another great thriller like Kiss the Girls and leave out Dr. Cross' stupid family and love life.

Summary: This novel combines all the best traits of a good suspense.
Review: James Patterson is the premier suspense/mystery novelist and with Cat&Mouse he combines all the needed ingredients for a effective thriller. The characters all seem real and you become attached to them as the book progresses

Summary: Please tell us there will be more!!! SOON!
Review: Patterson is one of the few authors out that I truely love and CAT and MOUSE wasn'nt dissapointing at all. I read the advanced copy a few months before the hard back edition came out and I tell you that it was intersesting reading the two different endings! I liked them both for there own value, but the original ending gave you a preview of the next novel yet to come. But if you haven't picked up an Alex Cross novel yet, you are definately missing out.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: I couldn't put this one down ... one of his best!
Review: I can't wait for the next case Alex Cross gets called in on. If it's anything like Cat & Mouse, it will be great! Rivoting right from the beginning. You really get to know Alex and his family and can feel their pain when bad things happen to them. Keep the stories coming!!

Summary: Loved it!!!!!
Review: I have been a Johnathan Kellerman fan in the past. After reading "Cat & Mouse" I have a new love! Patterson shows us both the best of love and the worst. He gave us beauty and shocked us with grim psychopathology. I can't wait for his next novel.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Couln't put this one down!
Review: I thought this was a GREAT book -- I can't wait for the next one. I really enjoy reading about Alex Cross and his friends and family. I was very upset when Alex and his family were attacked in this book! I felt like it had happened to my own family. James Patterson has done an excellant job in keeping me on the edge of my seat!

Summary: Kiss the Girls was the only good book in the Cross series.
Review: I've read the entire Cross series, and the only one that I truly liked was Kiss the Girls. Cat and Mouse read like a bad romance novel too many times. The other parts were a predictable suspense novel. The characters were stereotypes, you didn't care what happened to them. I also didn't like the structure of the book, how it was split into two parts. The only reason you might want to read this book is if you want to find out what happens to Soneji. Not that the plotline of Soneji/Murphy was written all that well in the other books. Kiss the Girls is a better bet than Cat and Mouse, and Jack and Jill wasn't too bad either. Kiss the Girls is more suspenseful and has a better story. Jack and Jill isn't as trashy.

Rating: 5 stars
