Review: The Best Alex Cross book. Other goods Alex Cross books are Kiss the Girls, Roses are Red, and Cat and Mouse.

Summary: Patterson's Best!!
Review: I have been reading the Alex Cross series (in order) over the last few months. Jack and Jill is by far the best in the series. Alex is working hard to solve 2 separate murder cases. From a small school serial killer to the high ranking establishment of Washington, D.C. - yup, Alex has his hands full! And the ending is going to leave you wanting more-more-more! I am a big Patterson fan. Love the short, action packed chapters and all the little surprises. He makes Alex Cross into a likeable guy. Jack and Jill is a must read for the Summer, Fall, Winter or Spring.

Summary: Pass
Review: This novel is severely hampered by a predictable, unoriginal plot, and cardboard cut out characters. It was dry, and utterly unsuspenseful. In fact, I really struggled to get through it.

The book has the feel of something that was written off the top of the author's head, in about a week and a half.

Summary: Fast paced and Scary
Review: This is an excellent Book, It is a tad disturbing, but very exciting. Patterson, has you on the edge of your seat. This Alex Cross book has to be close to one of the best. Two times the mayhem, and about five times the villains. This has horrifying thriller action, along with great political suspense. I recommend to anyone who can handle a damn good blow you away novel.

Summary: One of the greatest books I've read
Review: Although, this was the first James Patterson novel I read, I got hooked just by reading the prolauge. May be very violent, but the plot keeps you from saying "Where's my bookmark?" This books (1)about two people who calls themselves Jack and Jill and whom are on a killing spree with the most famous people in the US government (2)a killer who just wants to kill. Who's on their trail? Alex Cross. What I liked most about this book is how Patterson in each chapter has a different character's point of view, even the villain's. The villain's point of view seems so realistic, it almost seems that Patterson was once a villain! It just seems amazing how he can keep making puzzles and obstacles for Alex to survive. Overall, a must-read for over the summer.

Summary: Dry!
Review: I will be brief as possible: On every other page there seems to be a murder. (Maybe some of those pages could be used for further charcter developement or latent morality). Secondly, and most important, Patterson, in his novels, always tries so hard to get the reader to question the villians motives; however, once the motive is revealed I can't help but to say, "Thats it?" Patterson builds you up as if the reason for committing the crime is going to be some incredible reason that no one has ever considered before, yet makes sense. Nonetheless, once you understand why the crime was committed, you have to double check the cover and make sure your not reading a book in the "goosebumps" series.

Summary: James Patterson "A Master in his own element"
Review: This book was a page turner. What am I talking about!! Every book James Patterson writes is a page turner. I was blown away! I could never guess who the killer is in any of his books. The end left me dumbfounded!! To my suprise, I just couldn't believe it. Sorry, I don't want to give the ending away. I'm normally not a fan of the murder mystery genre, but James Paterson is good writer when it come to suspense. The best series I recommended his Alex Cross series. I feel this book is one of his best!

Summary: Lock Your Doors Tight-And Then Read!
Review: This Alex Cross story was another good one of Patterson's. The story is very scarey as there are mulitiple homicides taking place by two very sick killers, Jack and Jill. They are out to get the rich and famous, and they will stop at nothing until their fiendish mission is accomplished.

Meanwhile, Washington, D.C., homicide detective Alex Cross is called to a murder scene only blocks from his house, far from the corridors of power where he spends his days. The victim: a beautiful little girl who has been horribly beaten-and thrown in front of the elementary school Cross's son, Damon, attends.

As Alex Cross tries to put the pieces of this puzzle together, the killer, or killers, strike again and again. No one in Washington is safe-not children, politicians, and even the President of the US. Alex Cross has the skills to uncover and solve details in this case. But the question here, is does he do that in time?

An impossible book to lay down, as you have to see what happens next.
