Summary: --Murders, Undertakers and a Bounty Hunter in training--
Review: Stephanie Plum, New Jersey bounty hunter returns in TWO FOR THE DOUGH. This time she's hunting down a local boy who killed his best friend and then jumped bail. She's also been hired by a too friendly mortician to find some missing caskets. Since her Grandma Mazur has a fascination with funeral parlors, Stephanie takes her along as a cover as she pursues her investigations. Joe Morelli, the sexy vice cop is also back and he hangs around so much that Stephanie's mother starts to like him and invites him over to family meals. A mad man is out to kill Stephanie and goes so far as to break into her home and leave body parts as warnings to her. Rex, her pet hamster is almost killed by the same man when a cat is put into the hamster's cage.

There's a lot going on in this amusing and fast paced story. I thought it was even better than ONE FOR THE MONEY.

Review: I readed all of her books. I laughed so hard. They are all great reading. I can't wait till "To The Nine" come out.
I tell all my friend about her book. I have also given them for gifts. I rate all of her books a 10.

Summary: Second Plum
Review: Two for the Dough, is the second installment of the Stephaine Plum series. Stephanie is still working for her cousin, Vinnie, as a bounty hunter. Here task now is to bring in Kenny Mancuso, who has skipped his bail and is accused of killing a gas station attendant. Of course, Ranger and Morelli are along for the ride with Stephanie. Things with Morelli are heating up and he is also hot on the tail of Kenny, as not only is Kenny his cousin but he's part of the case that Morelli is working on. Besides trying to apprehend Kenny, Stephanie is also on the look out for some missing coffins. This means Stephanie is spending most nights at the funeral home with her wacky Grandma Mazur.

Will Stephanie get her man? Guess you'll have to pick up Two for the Dough to find out.

Summary: Stephanie's Deadly Dangerous Job
Review: "Fugitive apprehender" Stephanie Plum is buried (so to speak) in her latest hunt for Kenny Mancuso, charged with shooting a gas station attendant (also his former best friend) Moogey Bues, in the knee. Naturally, he's violated his bond contract with Stephanie's employer, Cousin Vinnie. Someone has now finished the job by killing Moogey Bues. Joe Morelli, Trenton, New Jersey's not-so-finest, is also looking for Kenny, his cousin, and suggests that he and Stephanie bury some old hatchets and work together. Naturally, Stephanie's instincts (and past experience) tell her that Morelli's holding back. Meanwhile, Spiro Stiva, of Stiva's Mortuary, hires Stephanie to help track down 24 missing caskets. Spiro was also best friends with Kenny and the late Moogey in school. "Now Moogey was dead. Kenny was missing in action. And Spiro was out twenty-four cheap caskets. Life can get pretty strange. One minute you're in high school, shooting baskets and stealing little kids' lunch money, and then next thing you know you're using mortician's putty to fill in the holes in your best friend's head."

This time Stephanie's armed (but not too dangerous) with a stun gun, defense spray, her .38 (which she's still afraid of), and a whole lot of "from-the-burg" attitude. Someone thinks that she can be scared off with missing body parts. Think again. With Joe Morelli, Ranger, and "Granny Disaster" on her side, Stephanie's determined to bury Kenny Mancuso before he buries her.

Although I enjoyed One for the Money a bit more, this 2nd in the Stephanie Plum series was just as action-packed and hilarious. Ranger is back briefly in a loose partnership with Stephanie. As always, the interaction between Stephanie and Joe Morelli is the best. Why can't she just admit he does it for her? And Grandma Mazur is still causing trouble while trying to help get the bad guys. Another good one.

Summary: Two For The Dough- READ THIS BOOK! -Taylor
Review: If you loved Nancy Drew and other mysteries, then you will absolutley love, "Two For The Dough," by Janet Evanovich. It is about Stephanie Plum, a young, inexperienced bounty hunter for her cousin, Vinnie. In "Two For The Dough," Stephanie is on the look-out for Kenny Mancuso, a man who is causing trouble at his friends funeral home and is also accused of killing another friend. Stephanie faces many ups and downs while searching for Kenny, but she usually has one of her friends to help her out; Joe Morelli, Lula, Jackie, Ranger, and sometimes even her Grandma Mazur. I really enjoy Evanovich's style of writing because is funny and also very suspenseful.

Summary: Couldn't wait to finish it
Review: After reading One for the Money I was keen to try the next book in the Stephanie Plum series. Ho Hum. It was amusing and well written but really it seemed so much like the 1st one with the personal life undertoning the book of Stephanie Plum I couldn't wait to finish it and find something new to read. I wouldn't bother with the others this author has written if this style remains throughout all her books. Read the 1st one enjoy it but don't go any further if you like to get variety into your reading.

Review: The whole series is laugh-out-loud murder. Think of the Sopranos on estrogen.

Summary: Great
Review: ...If you dress Holly Hunter or Cheri Oteri in flannel shirt, jeans and a baseball cap and put her in do or die situations with no experience and a lot of guts, you have Stephanie Plum. Plum walks right up to every situation with fierce determination that nobody takes seriously but everybody admires. She's dogged in her pursuits and hounded by the pursued (and one cop). Then Janet Evanovich drops these hilarious one line surprises out of nowhere that have you busting up for weeks afterward. 'Next time I find ... I'm flushing it down the toilet'.

Ah, it's good to write a review about a good book. You get to enjoy it all over again.

Summary: Stephanie Returns....
Review: ....and this time her crazy grandmother joins her. This book is a great follow-up to "One for the Money". Stephanie is up to all of her usual tricks again! Hard to put down and yet another book that will have you laughing out loud.
