Summary: Ending??
Review: I love this series. Living not to far from the "Burg" makes the stories ever more interesting. This story moves along very nicely, introducing the usual cast of strange characters and car mishaps. Just about as the story is building to a fevered pitch, it just ends. It is almost as if the author needed to meet a deadline before she could finish the story.

The writing is typical; easy to read, humorous and exiting-excellent beach reading. The story build to the end is excellent. I just wish that there was some resolution not just a two page ending.

Summary: A Little Disappointed
Review: While I enjoyed this book I have to say that I was a little disappointed with it. The jokes and situations are starting to get a little stale and everyone feels like they are running in place. The story needs to move on.

Now, having said all that, I still enjoyed the book and will be looking forward to the next one.

Summary: Not Disappointed
Review: I think that some of the previous books were funnier but this was very enjoyable. When I find myself laughing hysterically out loud this is definately a good book and a great author. I would love to see this series made into movies. They would sure be a hit with my friends and I...This may not be a 5 star but definitely 4 1/2 stars.

Summary: I laughed till I cried...
Review: in quite a few parts of the book. It's one of her best and I should know...I have them all. Thanks for a great read !!!

Summary: I loved it!
Review: You can always count on Stephani's antics to give you some laugh out loud moments. In this stressful world it's nice to know you can still pick up a book by authors like Janet Evanovich and get away from it all. We can all relate to the things that happen to Stephani and her friends. I'd like to see more of Grandma Mazur she is such a riot!

Summary: Good but not the greatest
Review: I really love Stephanie Plums' novels and eagerly await the next book each year. I was born and raised in Hamilton Twp., have relatives who live in the Burg and on Hamilton Ave and have visited the ER at St. Francis more than I like to remember. It really is a trip home for me. However, the books are beginning to get a bit monotonous. Steph whines and bungles and never goes forward, Morelli and Ranger are lacking depth and cars blow up too often. I would love to see Janet take a fresh direction. Same old, same old is how I felt about Hard 8. While I look forward to the familiarity of the old neighborhood, the story line is getting to be pretty boring.

Summary: wow
Review: number 6 and seven held such promise for Step and Rangers first time togther, but when we finally did get to it it was HALF- a paragraph, i mena serously, with all the hinting and the danger Ranger present you would think he would be a...i'm taking you as my woman pose, but he's just i'll role over and let you run back to the cop. apart from that the story was o.k. the characters weren't as fleshed out as they used to be, but i still had some laughs, not as much but enough to say i'll keep the book

Summary: I thought this was very good
Review: I really enjoyed this book. Unlike the previous ones, it was not a-laugh-a-minute which I adore about the previous books.

I especially loved the whole Kloughn and Valerie situation. Him in the dryer is the best mental picture.

The dialogue is still snappy although I miss the banter between Morelli and Stephanie.

I wish that she gave more screen time to Ranger. YEESH!! This man does not just rate less than two pages of real action, although the buildup of tension was great. The tension between the Steph and Ranger was funny, but I hoped for more. Sigh.

I loved the killer Rabbit!!!! Especially, the way that Steph's mom dispatched the rabbit.

I disagree with the first reviewed who said that the jokes are tired. THEY AREN'T!!!! I WANT MORE CARS GOING BOOM!!!!

And the Bender situation was cute.

The snakes and spiders and bears oh my made this a wonderful book, and I can't hardly wait for book nine.

Summary: Same Song, Same Dance, Same Characters
Review: Nothing new in this book. It's the same plot with the same characters (some of them just have difference names in this book). I loved the Stephanie Plum series, but I was so disappointed in this book. As some of the other reviewers have suggested, it's time to go up to the next level.

Summary: Laugh out loud
Review: Like many other readers, I could not wait to read #8. I loved this book, just like I have loved the previous seven novels. Any book that makes you laugh out loud and you cannot put down is definitely a winner. Evanovich is such a joy to read because of her humor, but also because of the characters she brings to life. There is always a new and hilarious character or two thrown in with the other main-stay characters. The scene with the Grandmother had me waking my three children at midnight because I laughed so hard that I began to cough. I was so bummed when I finished the book because I figure we all have to wait another year for the next one. If you want a great laugh and great story all of these Plum stories are terrific!!
