Summary: close to home
Review: This book hit me close to home because it reminded me of my best friend and how if she wouldn't have gotten out what could have happened. I think that when you have friends that are in the game they need to know how things might end up and on top of that. The reason I brought this boook was because I seen the auther on the Ananda Lewis show telling these young girls how things really are in the big league. And For once I was actually so eager to go out and buy this book and now I recommend this book to everyone that I think might benefit from it. And once you pick it up you won't put it down it will go everywhere you go.

Summary: Another Ghetto saga, uhm!
Review: Another tired, ghetto drama. Is that all of the black experience we can write about? SEX,DRUGS,MONEY,POVERTY,JAIL,AND THE STREETs?
Last night I saw a well spoken Ms. Woods on BET's tonight with Ed Gordon and I thought she appeared to be a respectable author. I read the first pages of her book and lost all of that respect. Is it me or does this book strangely remind you of The Coldest Winter Ever? Only thing is that Souljah did a great job writing about the TRUE life of a confused ghetto girl. One whose sole purpose for living is to show off her booty in some expensive clothes. I commend Souljah and frown on Terry. Lets talk about a sister who brags about her book being self published. Girl, you should've had a big publishing company to hook you up because the job you did yourself was tired. The story is so poorly written. All the grammatical errors. Girl, go sit down somewhere and let a REAL story teller have the floor. I.E. sister souljah. I refuse to buy this sorry stereotypical GHETTO book.

Summary: Captivating
Review: Terri Woods held me captive to this book. Upon purchasing it at a local mall, I sat in my car to read maybe a excerpt or two before I knew it I was halfway finish reading this book. I read this one in a day and a half. I completed it on my lunch break, the next day, in which I did not eat. This book comsumed my late night and(a)day. It had a way of pulling me in. Before I realized it I was lost in the characters yearning for more. I thanked my friend who recommended this book and I now recommend it to others. I immediately ran out to buy other books by this author and find B-More Careful, a suggested book. Terri hurry up a write another.

New loyal fan,

Summary: Great Read
Review: I read "B-more Careful" first and was really impressed. The book spoke to me and everything seemed of what I knew. A co-worker said that "True to the Game" was by the same author, but under a different name, I ran to get the book. It was Great! I finished it in one day. I could not put it down. It is well worth the purchase.

Review: This was one of the best books that I've read this year. Everyone I think could relate to someone in this book. I couldn't put the book down, especially towards the end. I've told everyone at my job, my friends and family to read this book. If you like to read good books that keep you turning the pages, READ THIS BOOK.

Summary: An Ok book 2/1/2
Review: Based on the reviews of this book I know alot of people won't agree with me but oh well. People have been telling me for months and months to get this book. Well I finally got it and it really didn't live up to the hype. It wasn't a horrible book but it wasn't that good either. When I read this book I kept thinking this story was trying to be a subpar "The Coldest Winter Ever" but it never quite made it. Gena and Qua were ok characters but there were too many other characters in the book that made the storyline too junky. Another thing that bothered me about this book is the countless grammatical errors and misspelled words. I'm sorry people but that is not acceptable in anyone's book, self-published or not. Please read The Coldest Winter Ever to see a true example of how a story like this should be done.
