Rating: Summary: Great Job Mr. O'Reilly Review: I was taken aback at first because I couldn't imagine Mr. O'Reilly writing "love scenes." Well done, though, sir. This book is for adults and is in no way comparable to Mr. O'Reilly's justified complaints against rap music that degrades society and the decent people in it, which he so colorfully discusses on his show. That said, this book will take you on a thrill ride. It's well worth your time to read it.
Rating: Summary: Please stick to politics Review: I may agree with 'some' of his politics--but, he can not write his way out of a paper bag.
Rating: Summary: A schlock masterpiece. Review: I bought this book for one of my friends for Christmas, after reading Al Franken's wonderful Lies and the Lying Liars. I was an English major at college and therefore feel qualified in making the following call: This is the single worst book I have ever read. Of course, I have also spent half my life watching Mystery Science Theater 3000, so I also feel qualified in recommending this book. It is so brutally awful (not to mention hypocritical of O'Reilly's anti-violence message - the end sequence is horrifically graphic) that I laughed almost every page. The plot is hamhanded and transparent, but you can tell that he's really *trying*, which makes it even better. If you're into schlock, this book is recommended on the same plane as Plan 9 From Outer Space is recommended for schlock film. Do the world a favor, though, and order it from half.com or something so that O'Reilly's sales rank doesn't get as bloated as his ego.
Rating: Summary: So horrendous it's enjoyable Review: Check out Mr. "Looking out for you" as he looks out for his lady in the following attempt at erotic fiction, quoted straight from the book:"Ashley was now wearing only brief white panties. She had signaled her desire by removing her shirt and skirt, and by leaning back on the couch. She closed her eyes, concentrating on nothing but Shannon's tongue and lips. He gently teased her by licking the areas around her most sensitive erogenous zone. Then he slipped her panties down her legs and, within seconds, his tongue was inside her, moving rapidly." Oh my! She "signaled her desire" by taking off all her clothes? That's a quite a signal - how did O'Shannon interpret it so correctly? Guess he figured she had entered the "no spin" zone!
Rating: Summary: Those Who Trespass Review: I am a huge fan of Bill O'Reilly. I have read all of his books. Those Who Trespass is a fast reader. You figure out who the murderer is in chapter two. It didn't keep me on edge while reading it. I read alot of mysteries and Bill isn't a mystery writer.
Rating: Summary: A new side of Bill O'Reilly Review: . Tom Cooper (JTCooper35@aol.com), book reviewer for a radio network, March 6, 2004, A new side to Bill O'Reilly As a book review editor for Funseeker's Radio Network I read and listen to a lot of thrillers and mysteries. Those Who Trespass is a great story and features Tommy O'Malley a tough detective and Ashley Van Buren a tabloid reporter who are both looking for a talented murderer who is killing network executives and people who have wronged him in the past. Those he kills are the sort you run into in radio and television, particularly CBS and CNN. It starts slowly, and even though Bill is not George Guidall he keeps your interest up throughout the entire story. I found myself sitting outside my home listening to a particularly interesting part and unable to leave my car until a chapter was finished. The plot twists are good ones and the ending is well written. Bill, you should write more fiction and I for one can't wait until your next novel.
Rating: Summary: Those Who Pass Up This Book Are Foolish! Review: I was absolutely surprised to discover that Bill O'Reilly can "spin" a great story! Good job, Mr. O'Reilly! Very cleverly written, and gives a bird's eye view of behind-the-scenes you'd not think of. Those who are condemning this book are clearly making an attempt to deliberately besmirch Bill O'Reilly's name, based on a personal agenda. I don't agree with Bill O'Reilly on all his opinions, but I'm big enough a person to give props where they are due. This is a fine read.
Rating: Summary: I Hate Bill O'Reilly Review: I don't always agree with his views but he sure can write a book. I am Stuart Woods and Tom Clancy fan, but come midnight I can always put them down. Thanks for a night were I can not put your book down, cause it is so good. By the way find away to meet in the middle of the road with your views. Rating: Summary: Fond of Money Review: Bill O'reilly wrote this book a while back before he began his Fox-fueled ride into greatness. I became aware of this book (a book-lover friend told me about it). She said it was "unbelievable". I read it. It was. It reminded me of the soft core porno I tried to write for money in college. My girlfriend at that time read my work, laughed at me, and told me "Irish guys cannot write porno." Now, post-Fox grandeur, O'reilly not only admits he wrote it, he goes along with reprinting "Tresspass" and re-releasing it. Jesus, has the man no sense? Or as I fear, has his love for $ consumed him? I think it's the later. (I think, underneath the bully persona, O'reilly is actually pretty smart) Re the book: Well, as the woman said, "Irish guys can't write porno." O'reilly claims that this is a "thriller", but ,even by that genre's standards, "THT" doesn't make it. I just hope he's giving the profits for this book away to somebody worthy. The ACLU?
Rating: Summary: What a pig Review: It's so funny that Bill O'Reilly can publish this garbage and then go criticizing Ludacris for his explicit rap lyrics.
