Rating: Summary: Great Plum fun, keeps you laughing out loud Review: If you like the other Stephanie Plum books, you will love this one too! The usual antics as a bail bondsperson, grandma Mazur is funny as usual. Of course, Joe Morelli and Ranger are hotter than ever. It is an easy, quick enjoyable read. You do get looks when you start laughing out loud. Don't miss this one. I am only sorry I have to wait so long for the next one.
Rating: Summary: The Best of the Series Review: Yes we had to wait for To the Nines to come out, but this book is well work the wait.Be prepare to laugh out loud, it is much better than Hard Eight. I can't wait for the next book.
Rating: Summary: Janet's the best for mystery humour Review: I have read most of Janet Evanovich's books and if it's humour as well as mystery you're looking for, get her books! Each new one you read keeps you up-dated on where Stephanie stands not only with her family, but also with her up and down love-life that parallels her humourous but hectic bounty hunter episodes, each more entangled than the next. There is no swearing in Janet's books, but the sex innuendoes keep you laughing all the way. You may want to be broad-minded, but hey, Stephanie Plum's just a New Joisey girl at heart and you can't help but be with her all the way. Not everyone will get off on her books, but I think they're great.
Rating: Summary: Stephanie is back better than ever! Review: The first two pages of this new endeavor start out making you whoop with laughter! Janet's done it again and then some with To the Nines! It's great fun, all our favorite characters are there (with the exception of Grandma Mazur who is more of a walk on this time around). Morelli is still charming and Ranger is divine. The plot is new and the energy and suspense are high. A truly fun read. I didn't want it to end!
Rating: Summary: Laugh out loud again Review: Yet another Stephanie Plum to read at home, not in public--too many laugh-out-loud bits, like Lula's diet. Fans of Grandma Mazur may be disappointed because she's not as involved in this one, but Lula is (way) out there, Connie gets in the act, Grandma Bella is having visions again, and Morelli, Ranger, and Bob are their usual charming selves. A numerical lack of suspects makes the villain obvious early on, but the mystery is never why I read these books. My only real complaint is that I zoomed through it in less than a day--wish the wait was shorter or the books were longer!
Rating: Summary: Laugh Out Loud! Review: This is my first Janet Evanovich book - and I absolutely loved it! Fast paced and very witty, I found myself roaring with laughter! I can't wait to go read the previous 8 books! Definitely get this if you are looking for a plain ole' fun read!
Rating: Summary: Loved it! Review: I have to say that J. Evanovich's novels keep getting funnier and funnier. I laughed out loud at some parts- Lula is hysterical, and the dialogue between Stephanie and Lula is always guaranteed to please. I also love the interplay between her family- great writing. I am, however, a little fed up with the Ranger/Morelli/Stephanie triangle. It seems as if the author is dragging it out a bit. At this point, I am saying- enough already!! Anyway, read it-if you like her previous books, you will love this one.
Rating: Summary: The Funniest Book I've Read in a Long Time Review: It took a while, but once I hit the funny parts, I couldn't stop laughing. Now when I think of this book, I'll remember how the characters reminded me of the 3 stooges and the keystone kops.
Rating: Summary: best series of books ever Review: I read a lot, with detective and mystery being my favorite. When I got this book, I waited until I climbed into bed to start reading,I tried to stop midway and couldn't, finishing a bit over three hours later, trying hard to stifle my laughter. The whole clan of characters are there, each one with something to contribute. This book is hilarious, although I did make the correct guess for the suspect less than a third of the way through. It may not be my favorite Stephanie Plum book and I am not even sure I have a favorite they are all so very entertaining. It didn't matter, I still loved it, and can hardly wait for Ten. Definitely a must for Ms. Evanovich fans, for female heroine fans, and for anyone that enjoys to read.
