Rating: Summary: Thumbs up Review: Reading the novel is like a web that tights the reader together and it releases only when the whole book is finish. One of the best novels by Mary Higgins Clark.
Rating: Summary: One of your best ever, Ms. Clark! Review: Reading this book began my never-ending craving for more MHC! The characters and setting was so real, you could picture the story as if it were actually happening to you! I immediately made a connection with Elizabeth, and wanted as much as she did to find her sister's murderer. MHC does it again with the end result. Too bad I devoured the whole book in just one night, I wish it had never ended! As an author myself, I can appreciate this exceptional piece of writing to its fullest!!!!!
Rating: Summary: This book began my addiction for MORE MHC! Review: How did I know that as soon as I picked up this book that I would never be able to put it down until it was finished? This book began my quest to read any and everything that MHC has put on paper. With MHC you get sucked into every twist and turn until you're finally spun back down to Earth at the conclusion. Her style of writing will keep you guessing until the VERY end. If you don't consider yourself as someone who reads very much, just wait until you grab ahold of this book!
Rating: Summary: Fantastic suspense Review: Another great work from the 'Queen of Suspense'. This book will keep you thinking and guessing about who could have done it and why, until the very end. A very worthwhile read for lovers of suspense, and for lovers of MCH.
Rating: Summary: A jewel in the "Queen of Suspense's" crown Review: I never liked mystery fiction until I read my first MHC novel "Stillwatch." Now I'm hooked, and "Weep No More" is an added bonus to my growing collection. This story kept me guessing from page one and I ended up rooting for the wrong person the whole time. Clark is the master of deceit. As a woman, I especially love the way her heroines take charge of situations, and even though may seem vulnerable, they are in complete control and always prevail. I feel confident in myself after reading each and every mystery as though I solved them myself
Rating: Summary: I'll bet. Review: After a couple of chapters, this novel seems to be suspended in a never ending climax. This is a great who done it that you won't guess who actually done it. Once you find out who it is, you'll feel stupid that you didn't make the right guess for the clues where there all along. I'll BET you'll fall for the bait. Clark will reel you in hook line and sinker for she's the only one who knew ALL the facts a head of time. If you think you're a good sleuth, after reading this, you'll find out that you're not
Rating: Summary: Wow! Review: I just read this book again after reading it real long ago...I thought it was boring then...but it kept me reading so diligently until the end this time because I forgot who was the killer. At one pivotal point I found myself going "Ohhhhh!!...", thinking I knew who it was, and then discovering I was right when the identity was finally revealed...making me shake my head, thinking it was so easy, I should have picked up on it sooner...if you're looking to read a Mary Higgins Clark book, I don't see how you could go wrong with this one.
Rating: Summary: My Opinion of This Book Review: This book was an easy read and it always kept the reader guessing. It toyed with two major questions did Elizabeth's sister commit suicide or was she murdered? And if so why? This was a classic Mary Higgins Clark. And like most of her books it goes along with a song intitled Weep No More, My Lady. She allows you to learn about the closeness of Elizabeth and her sister Lelia. This is a must read for Mary Higgins Clark fans.
Rating: Summary: You won't weep afher this one. Review: This book Weep No More, My lady is by Mary Higgins Clark, one of the finest authors I've ever read. She puts this passage in this book that makes you think hard and long. This book is about how a young girl and her older sister move to New York to get away from their drunken mother. It flashes forward about ten years and her older sister is dead: she had fallen out of a window. The police seem to think that the murderer was Liea's boyfriend. Lisa got a phone call from Mimi, her old manager after coming back from a movie. Mimi, now own a spa. Mimi asked her if she would like to come down for a week and the next day she was there. While she was there she found out that everyone that would be in the trail was there. She wanted to leave, but not only was Mimi there but also Sammy, a key character was there. After Sammy got in she started reading Liea's fan mail. She found a mean letter that was addressed to Liea. Sammy was killed that night. Lisa had lost two people. Now with all this information she knew who the killer was. Then she went for a swim knowing that the killer would be there. Lisa was a character that everyone likes, and they know that they could make her do anything for them. She wasn't the one to speak up. She would change in this story because at first she would do everything that her sister did but once her sister is gone she will have do everything for herself. No one will be there to help. She also changes because she will put her life in the killer hands. Just to show that her sister death was not by the person ever one though it was. To help her become stronger she would say, "Don't give up sparrow, you can do it just a little more and you will be done." Those words would be able to help anyone. Get Mary Higgins Clark's Weep No More, My Lady; it is an unsurpassable book. It's smashing with all of its crime, love and hate. Everyone think it's Ted, but really it, - well, it not fair that I tell you. I will read every book that she has written and so should you.
Rating: Summary: Weep No More My Lady Review: This novels tells the story of Elizabeth Lange who desperately wants to put away the murderer of her famous sister. She accepts an invitation to a spa to get some more perspective on her grief. Unfortuately the man she believes killed her sister is there also, along with several of her sister's enemies. Will she be able to solve the murder before the killer gets the best of her? This books is very well-written. It is obvious that a lot of thought was put into it. Another definite page-turner from MHC!
