Summary: Suspenseful!
Review: Elizabeth Lange, a beautiful,up and coming young actress is invited to spend time at a spa for the rich and famous, by the owners of the spa who had been friends of her lately deceased sister, Leila, a famous star of stage and screen.
Leila's lover, celebrity financier Ted Winters, has been accused of Leila's murder and is awaiting trial.Unbeknown to Elizabeth, Ted has also been invited to the spa, along with his aide and a lawyer who is helping to prepare him for the trial. It soon becomes clear that quite a few of the people at the spa had reason to hate Leila who had antagonised many on her way to the top.Elizabeth is to be the prosecutions chief witness as she heard Leila's voice on the phone, pleading with Ted not to hurt her.It soon becomes obvious that someone is determined to kill Elizabeth and the plot thickens! I found this to be a good, quick, exciting read and not too much of a brain strain.

Summary: Good spa mystery
Review: Weep No More My Lady is a solid suspense novel about a woman named Elizabeth who finds herself investigating her sister Leila's murder on her own. Against her lawyer's wishes, Elizabeth flies from New York to a spa in California where all the stars go to relax and rejuvenate themselves. She was invited by the owner of the spa to take a week off before the trial. While there, she finds out more and more about the murder of her sister. Ted is the accused murderer but Elizabeth begins to have her doubts that he's the one.

Without giving away the ending, this book was a bit hard to believe. The spa in which it takes place just seems a bit too good to be true. I pictured a bunch of older actresses at this spa, even though MHC is portraying Elizabeth to be in her twenties or thirties. Another thing that I found a bit hard to believe was that everyone that should be involved in the murder case, except for the lawyers, were at the spa at the same time as Elizabeth.

I prefer A Cry in the Night and Remember Me. Two of MHC's best, in my opinion.

Summary: Weep, indeed
Review: This is an incredibly emotional story about a woman trying to cope with her sister's murder--and the fact that she has a thing for the man accused of killing her. Elizabeth's past is bittersweet, and MHC does an excellent job of making the flashbacks and Elizabeth's memories very poignant. The antagonist is pretty easy to discover due to one tiny--but very distinctive--clue, but the subplot about Elizabeth and Leila's relationship makes it very much worth the effort.

Summary: A must- read by Mary Higgens Clark!
Review: I liked this book because it had details about see what was happening in my mind. The way the characters related to each other was amazing. Most of the book gives you clues as to who the real killer was. I jumped back and forth between who I thought it was.
I liked the book because the characters were so developed. When I was finished with the book I almost felt like I knew them. The way the book ended was so surprising; it wasn't what I had expected at all. This is a great book I would recommend it to anyone.

Summary: great mystery
Review: I liked Weep no More My Lady because it had details about everything, I could almost see what was happening in my mind. The way the characters related to each other was amazing. Most of the book gives you clues to whom the real killer is, but they're hard to catch on to. I jumped back and forth between who the murderer was, but I never got it right.
I liked the characters in the story too. They all had some alternative motive as to why they did what they did. The dialogue helped me understand what was going on. Also Mary Higgins Clark, the author, also let you into the heads of the characters so you know their thoughts as well as what is going on around everyone. I really recommend reading this book. It is awesome.

Summary: Not the best
Review: I listened to the audio version and found it lacking. I agree with a previous reviewer who stated that the characters seemed to reach resolution a bit too rapidly. Much of those resolutions left me wondering if the characters suddenly developed ESP...Overall, it was corny and none to realistic. ...Other MHC novels have offered more...this one just felt generic.

Summary: Highly recommended for mystery fans.
Review: This is truly one of Mary Higgins Clark's best mystery novels, that centers around Elizabeth Lange, in desperate search for some inner peace after her sister's murder. Her sister, Leila, became a model after she and Elizabeth left their abusive parents home at a young age. Leila soon became a movie star and married the wealthy Ted. However, one day after an argument with her husband, she is found dead. The police at first label her death as a suicide, but soon her husband is their number one suspect. Weeks before Elizabeth has to go to trial to testify against Ted, she is invited by a dear, old friend to an exclusive spa where the rich and famous go to find relaxation and seclusion from the public eye. There, she finds that close friends of Leila are also at the spa. She soon has her doubts about Ted being the murderer. During her stay at the spa, other people's lives are in danger, including hers. Who really killed Leila and why? Was it really Ted, as she first suspected, or was it someone else who was close to Leila? Read and find out.

Review: Weep No More My Lady.

Sorry, this books just didn't do it for me though I wish it had. I have read many books by this author and enjoyed all of them, especially, Pretend you don't see her. This one though, ....Oh well

I feel the Characters found results too easy and a line of though for the characters was not concise or even given. The main character, Elizabeth, tends to have many epiphanies. Too many.

And that annoying Alvirah is heard and not seen, not really her style.

Summary: Non-Stop Page Turner! Great for a Rainy Weekend
Review: I am fairly new to MHC's works; I've only read three of her books. Weep No More... was great. I started it on a Sunday and read right through with few breaks until 4 am on Monday morning. I could not put it down. Right up until the end the building suspense kept me turning the pages, reading as quickly as I could. A wonderful book. Just make sure you plan to read it when you have plenty of time; you won't want to stop until the very end. Hope to read more of Alvirah and Willey in other books beside Weep No More... and The Lottery Winner. They are interesting characters worth repeating.
