Review: Randy Alcorn is a superb writer of books that keep you reading and on the edge of your seat. As a working writer I can tell you that weaving a good story is much harder than it looks. If you read this book you will get a bang up story that ratchets up the tension and delivers an incredible view of God that brought tears to my eyes.

Summary: A Phenomenal Read!
Review: I'm not one for fiction, usually, but when a good friend recommended this book and kept recommending it, I couldn't resist, and when I began, I couldn't put it down. It was an incredible read and a phenomenal journey into the heart of characters that you really care about. This was a non-stop page-turner, and I didn't want to put the book down. It sounds like a cliche, but this was the real deal. The synopsis states it minimally, but if you want a great read, pick this book up. You will not be disappointed. The descriptions of Heaven are worth the price of the book. Incredibly recommended!

Review: I read this book and could not wait to read the next one. I reccomend it to everyone. I love all of Randy's books. This was the first one I read and I was hooked. This book will make you think and will keep you hooked. The next one is even better! My favorite part of these two books is the way they look at heaven. Makes me excited about getting there some day.

Review: In this masterfully written suspense novel, author Randy Alcorn weaves together an amazing picture of Heaven and the importance of making a decision in THIS life which will determine where one will spend eternity in the NEXT. The story captures the interest immediately, as the reader is able to identify with the drama in the lives of the main characters, developed skillfully by Alcorn. This novel has given me an excitement about the future Heavenly state, and a passion to look to eternity in order to keep the stress and set-backs in this life in proper perspective.

Review: I read this book on the recommendation of a friend. Little did I know that this book would hit so close to home in so many ways. I am a relatively new Christian and still had a lot of "issues" that were clouded in my head. But upon reading this book, a lot of those issues were brought to the forefront and literally "steam-cleaned" before my eyes. Deadline was able to answer so many of my questions in a clear and concise manner, without the sugar-coating you get from many of the sources available today. I thank God for giving me the opportunity to read this book. It has brought us closer together than ever before. Bless you, Randy Alcorn!

Summary: Want to change a life? - Give them this book!
Review: This is one of the best christian fiction books I have ever read!!! I am an avid fan of Randy Alcorn and have read most of his novels, but this by far is my favorite!! This book not only tells the story of a friendship between three adult males (one a believer- one a non-believer- and one who is undecided) each one with very different personalities and occupations from one another, but it accompolishes three very important things. First, it paints a very unique and fresh view of heaven. If you have ever wondered what we (believers in Christ) are going to do once we get there, this book paints a picture of beautiful scenery, and fun and enjoyable activities. Secondly, this book paints a realistic view of hell. It reminds the reader of the often overlooked and disbelieved fact that once one goes to hell, the pain and anguish is eternal and forever! You can not go back and change your mind if you die as a non-believer. You go to hell - and live the rest of your eternity in terror, torment, agony, and distress - plain and simple. Thirdly, and most importantly, Alcorn's novels (this one and especially "Edge of Eternity") remind us that our time on earth is simply "a test." Our real life, our eternal life, begins after death. What we do on earth, determines where and how we will spend our eternity. We must take this short life that we are given on earth very seriously and choose who we will serve and where we will spend our eternity. Give this book to an unsaved friend. Change their life!
