Summary: MEG- A Brilliant novel of Deep Terror
Review: I first got Meg for Christmas & read It that day. A truly enjoyable story with fantastic and realistic characters. If you're interested in Sharks and all things underwater or just enjoy a good book, you'll love Meg. From beginning to end, you will not be able to put it down as Steve Alten takes you on a fantastic journey from the depths of the Ocean to the depths of fear. In my opinion this book is for everyone and I urge you to buy a copy today...

Summary: THE BEST!!!!!!!!
Review: I think MEG was a book of thrill's, and suspence. Even though I don't usually read chapter books, I found this one irresistible, I never read anything but this until I was finished. I was so inspired by the story, and plot. That I was inclined to write to the author, and tell him how much I thought of this book. The story line seemed so orginal; yet Steve Alten was able to bring out the emotion of of the characters, and even made me feel how scary it must be to have a 30 ton prehistoric shark come up behind you.

Summary: My Opinion
Review: I liked this book a whole lot. The way Steve Alten tells this story it makes you feel as though you are there, staring this 60ft Meg in the face. This book will keep readers going into the early hours of the morning. The book is very intense and interesting. Readers will plunge into the chilling story. I hope that the idea for Meg the movie can and will happen and that the same action and tone from the movie are done so that it will scare more people than Jaws ever did and ever will.

I recommend this book to Steve Alten fans, Jaws fans, or people who like gore. This book also has a lot of profanity and gore. Still, this is probably the best book I have ever read, even if I don't read that much.

Summary: Pamela
Review: I liked this book a whole lot. It was very intersting and it pulled me in. I felt as if I was there in the book with the main character. I felt as if I was there feeling the same emotions as the character. Steve Alten has written one of the best if not my favorite book. I really liked the descriptions he gave me. Dragging me into the scenes. If you like to read action packed books filled with suspense and terror. Then this is the book for you. If you do get this book its worth every penny if not more.

Summary: Spell binding
Review: This book is the best book I have ever read about a shark, (save Jaws of course)and I can't wait to read the sequel, The Trench! The way Steve Alten tells this story it makes you feel as though you are there, staring this 60ft Meg in the face. Alten shows how to captivate an audience with primordial wonder and terror. Great summer book.

Summary: The Best Shark Novel Since Jaws
Review: Excellent book it was gripping and powerful. The writing was fantastic and the suspense was as real as any I have ever felt reading a book. Disney must be crazy to pass up an opportunity like this. The movie would do killer at the box office ( no pun intended.)

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: fast-paced, interesting
Review: This is a wonderful, original story. The novel just draws you to its pages. This book was extremely well written. The depth the author gave to his information was extraordinary. This book had a marvelous plot and theme, something different. The author's knowledge is imminent while he portrays a situation in which every detail counts. This book will keep readers going into the early hours of the morning. The book is very intense and interesting. Readers will plunge into the chilling story.

Summary: Meg book review
Review: Meg, was an excellent book,I thought it had just the right amount of action, suspense and realism. It was easy to almost picture yourself in some situations that were it the book like the megalodon attack on the small submarines, or being in the Mariana trench watching the sharks from a safe distance.I really think this book should be rated five stars or at least four. Not changing the subject too much I hope there will be a third sequel to this book.

Summary: Excellent Book!
Review: This by by far one of the best books I've ever read. I first got the book back in like 1997, I think, and I re-read it annually. Today was the start of my reading it in 2001. This book has got it all, a marriage gone wrong, a giant shark, and a guy named Mac. How cool is that?

Summary: MEG-nificent
Review: This is an awesome book. As a fan of the Jaws movies as well as being fascinated by sharks, I fell in love with this story. THe first book I ever read in one day. This story tells about a megaloden shark(think of Jaws being 2.5-3 times as big) that is alive in todays world living in the deepest trech in the ocean. When it rises to the surface- in an interesting yet believable way- it wreaks havoc on the world. The attacks Steve described are somewhat graphic, but they definitely give you a good idea of exactly how big these things were. Yes they did really exist on our world. And Steve does a good job in his first novel in making you believe this thing is real, keeping you turning pages, and making you think twice before going into the water.
