Summary: I SEE YOU'VE DECIDED TO HUMILIATE YOURSELF IN PUBLIC
Review: I MYSELF HAVE READ EVERYBOOK OF GRIFFIN, IF YOU STOP READING A BOOK JUST BECAUSE A CHARACTER IS KILLED IS JUST PLAIN STUPID. I'M NOW ON YEAR 4.5 OF SERVICE IN THE ARMY ALL OF IT OVERSEAS, AND I STILL HAVE A HARD TIME TO FIND SOMETHING BETTER TO DO WITH MY TIME THAN TO RE READ ONE OR ALL OF HIS BOOKS. HONOR BOUND WAS THE FIRST BOOK OF GRIFFINS THAT I OWNED, AND TO THIS DAY I AGREE WITH TOM CLANCY THERE IS NO ONE WHO CAN DESCRIBE THE MILITARY LIFE AND INTRODUCE YOU TO A CHARACTER LIKE GRIFFIN. WHEN YOU GET DONE WITH A BOOK YOU IMMEDIATELY START LOOKING FOR THE NEXT ONE, JUST SO YOU CAN FIND OUT ABOUT THE CHARACTERS. I'M STILL WAITING FOR THE BOOK AFTER IN DANGERS PATH IN THE SERIES THE CORPS, SO AS TO LEARN WHAT HAPPENS TO MCOY DURING THE REST OF THE WAR. READ SEMPER PHI AND YOU'LL GET HOOKED. IF MY BROTHER IN THE MARINES READ IT HE WOULD FEEL THE SAME WAY. SO SHUT UP IF YOU QUIT BECAUSE SOMEONE DIED, YOU'LL GET OTHER CHARACTERS JUST AS INTRIGING AS THE LAST.

Summary: As Usual, an Excellent read
Review: I Spent almost 30 Years as a Navy Corpsman. At least half that time with the Corps. Mr. Griffin has been able to catch the true spirit of the Corps. As an amature historian I find this novel not only entertaining, but historically accurate. I can hardly wait for the next book in the series

Summary: Blood & Honor
Review: In general, people who review books fall into two categories: (1) "hooked on..." folks (like me), and (2) Self-styled critics, that live to criticize - even if there is nothing to criticise, and they don't even know why they read the book. "Blood & Honor" was another in the ongoing productions of Mr. Griffin that so enthralled all of us "hookies" since the first series. I've read every one, by the way, and can never wait till the next in whichever series arrives for us. Bravo W.E.B. - and please, please continue. Many thanks, Jim Malone

Summary: Griffin does something different
Review: Instead of covering his characters over a period of many years as he usually does with his military characters, Griffin restricts himself to a relatively brief period of a few months. He also uses an original twist: World War Two covert warfare in neutral Argentina. A great read.

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: Dreary reading
Review: Maybe I have read too much (everything) by Mr Griffin but his work becomes too predictable. If one has read the first in this series and the first 100 pages or so of this book you can turn to, and read the last twenty-five and be comfortable that nothing worth your time has been missed

Summary: Entertaining, almost a one-sitting read
Review: This book keeps your interest with an interesting supposition of how events played out in bringing Peron to power. Many pages could have been skipped if there was a little key in the margin that denoted when the author was developing characters that had been done in the previous book, then I could have skipped ahead to where the story picked up again. I believe there will be others in the series, since the ending was missing closure, especially in the arena of who will appear in other books.
