Ms. Gerritsen has surpassed Robin Cook as my favorite medical thriller author. I am on my third Tess Gerritsen book and can't wait to see what comes out next.

Review: Tess Gerritsen was a totally unknown to me but I will be looking for her next book for sure. This is one of those pleasant surprises whereby you suddenly discover a new writer to watch for. Tess does superb on suspense, murder, romance, and having you relate to the environment that she portrays in this "medical suspense" about heart transplants. It gives you a whole new understanding of what someone goes through to build a successful career in the medical profession. You will not be able to put this one down until you have read the last page.

Reading "Harvest" is like taking a journey into Bayside Hospital! Truly amazing book. I was looking for a book to read, and took this one of the shelf in the bookstore without knowing how good it is! Review: Tess Gerritsen really did an excellent job with this book. Keeps reader's attention from the first to the last page. The Book virtually takes the reader into the action of the book and you can feel the stress and fear Abby is going through. A well thought plot, with some descriptive scenes. I recomend this book for everyone. It is written in a style that you can't and don't want to stop reading. It completely caputers your attention. It is straight forward, with no unexplained twists and confusing minor plots. It is the BEST book I've ever read

Review: Harvest was the first of many books written by Tess Gerritsen that I had a chance to read. It completely captures the reader and "transforms" him/her into the action in the book. You can actually feel the stress and fear Abby DiMatteo is going through! If you are looking for a great medical thriller, I recommend this one! Harvest keeps the reader on the "edge"! You can't stop reading when you start. Excellent book!!!

It compels the reader to consider the consequential ethical/moral implications of this rather new medical specialty. The author's writing style is rather simple, but the end of the book is a thrilling, action-packed adventure! The story will not only leave the reader wondering about the almost indistinguishable line between life and death, but also whether the control of life and death is slowly passing from deity to human.
