Summary: I Love His Books!
Review: I loved this book! Why are people saying it had the same plot and everything? It didn't!!! Of course it will be similar cuz there are dinosaurs. There was not a lame excuse to have another island! There was no room at the other island to raise dinos, so they needed another one. The plot was NOT the same and the things that happened were TOTALLY different. This book made me think so much. I liked Ian's chats and talks that were long. They brought up good points or made me think about things I had never thought about before. This book let my imagination run wild and picture things only in my dreams. I could go on and on. This book makes me look at everything differnet. It made me think things through two different ways, and it always turns out for the better. I don't care what everyone else, but Michael Crichton is too gifted for words.

Review: Jurassic Park, Sphere, and the Lost World are all My favorite books. I have read not only those but Congo, and Im in the middle of The Andromeda Strain. I am 11! If I can read and understand these it means they are all excellent! A Must Read Book His Best!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Review: This book is dumb. I mean dumb. This has got to be the most obvious Hollywood script ever disguised as a book. As a sequel to Jurassic Park, it stinks. I was going to give it a 1, but the story is mildly interesting, on its own, but when you think about DEAD Mr. Malcolm, etc., then it gets pretty dumb. Don't buy this book, unless you can get it for less that $1, and you need to take up space on your shelf.

Review: This book is killing me , Crichton shouldn't be so lasy for close up the story so fast . The whole book is nice and great value for my money . It's a great book to read on !!!!!!!

Review: Please do not see the movie... READ THE BOOK! The book picks up right where his first left off, but doesn't have any hokey stuff like the movie. It's fast paced, exciting... just like all of Crichton's books. I only have one question: in the first book, I got the vibe that Malcolm died, but he was in this book. Was I wrong?

Review: This movie was totally different from the book. Except if you ask me, I'd say the book is a heck of a lot better then the movie itself. It's slow at the beginning, but you won't be able to put the book down once you get near the end.

Summary: The Lost World by Michael Crichton is non-stop action!
Review: The book "The Lost World" by Michael Crichton, in my opinion, was a great book. It took a while for the book to start to get exciting, but once it did there was non-stop action. The plot and the action was always moving around but no matter where it stopped, there was always something exciting going on to someone. The characters in this book were different from the first book, "Jurassic Park" except for one, Ian Malcolm. I liked how Crichton did that, because if you think about it, no one is going to experience a dinosaur incident twice. So he changed the characters, making you meet new ones to see how they handled the experiences. Altogether I thought this book was great and I recommend it to anyone who likes action and adventure books.

Summary: Very good book, but.....
Review: I had read Jurassic Park before The Lost World so I was looking forward to reading it. I enjoyed the book, even though Malcolm's resurection was pretty stupid, I still enjoyed it. I wish Crichton had brought back Dr. Grant. He was my favorite charecter. It was dissappointing to find out that the only reason Crichton wrote the book was because Spieldberg wanted to make another movie, and the movie didn't follow the book one bit! The movie sucked! I have heard the Crichton is going to write a 3rd JP either a sequel to The Lost World or a prequel to Jurrasic Park. Crichton is just going to wear JP out and it's going to get old. The first book was excellent and I think he should leave them as two books.
