Review: I've read this book 7 times(4 TIMES IN ENGLISH, 3 TIMES IN DUTCH), and ít's still exciting... This is just the best book ever written!!!! If you haven't read it..., then get to your bookstore and buy it. And try to break my record!!!! Oh... Don't watch the movie, because that's the worst movie ever made!

Summary: Good, but not what I expected
Review: Lost World was an interesting book but it didn't fit as a sequel to Jurassic Park. Of course Hollywood killed both books. I hope that one day in the NEAR future that they might get a clue.

Review: I've already read Jurassic Park, and I think that book was very well writen. Lost World was just as good. I liked most everything about this book, except that much of it was poorly writen. It had lots of action in it and adventure. I think that if you read this book you will agree with me.

Summary: Best Thriller I've read!
Review: I'm 12 years old and I believe this book by a highly acclaimed master storyteller is a must-read-novel. The intensity and description was terrific and very suspenseful. The book is much better than the movie because a character was taken out, and with him a great part of the story. It was also changed dramatically. This 430 pg. superbness is a great book. The character's demeanors are set perfectly and the plot moves quickly, but still remains suspenseful. Praise for this wonder.

Summary: Let's not blame Mike. . .
Review: How about putting the blame on Hollywood, the publishers and any other person or company that would benefit from the BIG bucks to be made due to the phenominal success of the original (and great idea of J.P.). It is definitely not Mike's best work, but neither was it a good piece of work by his publisher as evidenced by the unedited paragraphs where the word "she" (I think--a bit of time has passed since I have read the book) was used almost 50 times. A ridiculous deadline is commonly to blame for the lack of quality control in a production like this.

Review: It was incredible, for sequals. It acually was almost as good as it's prequal, Jurrasic Park. He really captured the essence of a lot of people on an islant and getting eaten by lots of dinosaurs that weren't supposed to be there.

Summary: The BEST novel by Crichton
Review: I have read many other books by Michael Crichton that had a few good chapters in them but this book was a non-stop reader! I couldn't put it down. First of all, if you have never read this exellent book and want to read it because you liked the movie, you should read this book. If Michael Crichton didn't write the words:The Lost World anywhare in this book, you would notice that it is a totally different story than the movie. If you hated the movie (like me) you should also read this book, it was exellent! Although I am only in 8th grade, of all the books I read this one was the best by far!

Summary: Very good book horrible movie
Review: Mike does a splendid job of detail in this amazing book. This book provides detail about the dinosuars and how they would live and respond to humans. I admit I did skip a few pages when the book describes about dinosuars interacting with one another. But it still provided an increadible reading experience. This book has lead to many new games and a few spin offs, most are not appealing at all. I hope to read the book as soon as I can. The movie is a completly different story, don't waste your time or money on somthing Speilberg could obviously have done better.

Review: I didn't think that I would be able to stomach this novel by M.C. after Jurassic Park. But, just to be curious I went ahead and read it. This book was more BORING than the first book!! Why must he continue to bore us!! Please, let's not hope for a Jurassic Park 3!!!!!!!!!! Please make him stop writing about things that he has no idea about. His other books are great!! But these dino books are just really bad!!

Summary: Just like the first one.
Review: There's not too many differences between this book and the first Jurassic Park. It's not very origonal, and it's still has some unneeded characters, and Malcolm still talks way, way too much. Anyhow, it's still a fun book to read.
