Summary: Not Crichton's best
Review: I had to read this book for my English class next year, and at first I thought it would be exciting and gripping like Timeline. As it turned out, Terminal Man was well researched and had a good story line, but was lacking exitement. I could've put this book down at any time.

There seemed to be 2 plots going on in the book. The plot about the terminal man himself developed nicely but not the one about one of the female doctors.

As for the ending, I expected more of a bang than what actually happened. There were some things in the book that were predictable, but most of it wasn't. If you've read all of Crichton's books except this one, get it. But if you're a new Crichton reader, start with something else.

Summary: Michael Crichton
Review: When I read words from Michael Crichton, I can visualize them all. I imagine visually the entire story. His stories are technical and flowing. This book is highly recommended. I won't bother to tell you about the book because you should read without knowing to make it more exciting. This book is for techincal thinkers who can visualize.

Summary: Good, But Not His Best
Review: This is a pretty good offering from Michael Crichton. Like all of his books, it is a page-turner, I read it in one sitting once I had the chance. It is a good story, and has some thought-provoking scenes. However, it's not Crichton's best work. Why? Well, there are some scenes that explain certain complex medical procedures in detail that many people may find self-indulgent. Also, the ending was weak.

Still, this is a Crichton book for God's sake, so it is good, just not his best. Don't make this your first read of MC (or the second or third for that matter), but do read it... eventually.

Summary: An interesting chapter in the Crichton library
Review: Classic Crichton. This is one of his earlier books and isn't quite as refined as his later offerings. A good example is character development. It's decent in this book, but Crichton gets a lot better at it. Also, the science is more complex than in other Crichton books, but still not beyond a collegiate level.

It's interesting to read this book 30 years after it was written and compare Crichton's vision with the actual course of computer advancement.

Don't make this the first Chrichton book you read, but do read it if you like the author.

Summary: thrilling but a lot of bad language
Review: this book was superbly written and kept me at the edge of my seat, but some where in the middle it loses its hold and goes wayward, with great difficulty micheal gets his story on the right track but i guess it is too late to get 5 on 5. any way worth reading.

Summary: Good, but it's Crichton's worst
Review: I am a huge fan of Michael Crichton and this is probably his worst book- but it was still good. I was hooked during the beginning, the science and the mystery of Harry Benson intrigued me. I was absorbed in the plot and I really started to feel the characters and I kept on turning the pages and turning the pages. But then somewhere during the ending all the science was dropped for chase scenes, although many scenes during the end was good it just didn't get the interest that was sparked in me at the beginning. This book is definitely worth reading but just beware that it might be disappointing to you.

Summary: Terminal Man- a great book
Review: I think that Michael Crichton's Terminal Man is a great book. It is definitly one of Mr. Crichton's best works, although, all of his books are really good. It is a page turning thriller from start to end. The only weak point is the ending. But all things considered it is a great book.

Summary: Awesome book!
Review: This was a great book! The only thing that I found was wrong with it is that it had a very weak ending. Otherwise this book had a great story. It went along steady and strong. Overall a very great book.

Summary: Terminal Man- a so-so book
Review: I didn't enjoy Terminal Man as much as the other Crichton books. It had some neat parts, but it still is my leasy favorite Crichton. I've heard other people say they like it a lot, so it just might be my opinion. You'll have to try it out yourself.

Summary: Phil Kelly's Review
Review: The Terminal by Michael Crichton was a sci-fi action-packed thriller. I liked this book a lot and it was probably my favorite book we read all year although Things Fall Apart was up there (just kidding.) Well anyway I think Michael Crichton is one of the best science fiction writers ever. He makes you want to keep reading the book and never put it down. That's how I felt when I read The Terminal Man. Once I got towards the last chapter, I couldn't put it down. There's so much action throughout the whole book. I thought this was a great book and I plan on reading more Michael Crichton books. His use of detail of desription are excellent. Witout the use of these things this would have probably been a boring book in my mind. Overall, I would give this book a very high rating and I recommend to all readers of any age...preferably the college level. One criticism I might make about this book because there weren't many would be that he dragged on about topics to much like when he had then talking about the operation for about 8-10 pages or so, and also there were many conversations between characters that went on relly long and some parts got boring but once I got toward the latter stages of the book, I couldn't put it down.
