Review: after reading all novels written by ken follet (up to this date) and enjoing each and every one, i have to say that "eye of the needle" is simply the best. start reading it and you will not take it out of your mind (or out of your hands) from the first page until the very last one - a real page turner.

Follet adds incredible suspense, lust, and misfortune in this thrilling tale of a nazi spy seeking temporary refuge upon a crippled, British pilots home. A classic example from one of the world's leading fictional authors.

Eye of needle is story about german spy who lives in Great Britain in middle of World war II. I cant say anything else but this man can write good book everytime he takes pen in his hand. Review: Mr follett crafts such a fine story with every new effort that he truely stands head and shoulders above his peers. In "Eye of the Needle", Follett creates plots and subplots which are neither formulaic nor predictable in substance and this transforms a standard story into a gripping page turner. I cannot recommend this book any higher.

Summary: From the beginning it keeps you at the edge of your chair!
Review: I have read this one three times and it is still near the top of my list of personal favorites. The German spy known as "Die Nadel" has learned a secret that can change the course of WWII in favor of the Nazis. He will stop at nothing to get this critical information back to Hitler. Classic Follett. By the time I had finished the first chapter I was hooked.

Review: I do not want to reveal any plot points, but I can only say that the TITLE of this book is more chilling than you know. An excellent read. I am a voracious reader who enjoys Norman Mailer, Gore Vidal, Leon Uris, Colleen McCullough, Stephen King, Maeve Binchy, Olivia Goldsmith, Anne Tyler and many more, but Ken Follett is by far my favorite. He turns a phrase with a perfection that can be seen not only here but in The Man from St. Petersburg, Night over Water, and Pillars of the Earth. I highly recommend them all. The suspense in The Eye of the Needle does not stop until you put the book down, which you will not do until you have finished it. Enjoy

I'm 15 years old and haven't read THAT many books..anyway, this one has certainly secured itself a place in my Top 10-list.
YOU should read it - you will not regret.
