Summary: THE BEST BOOK TO BUY!!
Review: Every single one of these books are the best book ever and now their being combined into one extroadinary book with a great cover and is put together greatly. I think Sphere is the best novel in this book but it is so hard to pick a favorite. The suspence in every novel is the spectacular and the monsters that are in every novel are scary and very creative. I love how Crichton combines science with creative monsters and non-stop suspence into one novel and now three of those novels are in one book! I would recommend this book to anyone who likes to be scared to hell by an excellent author! BY THIS BOOK, IT'S AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Summary: Best $7.00 I've ever spent!
Review: I bought this book in a local bookstore only because it was marked half off and I recognized the name... and I must say it was the best $7.00 I've ever spent. I started at the beginning and read all 3 books in just over 2 days. All three were great, but Sphere was my favorite. I love his writing style... his writing feels so real-life. I've since read most of his written works.

For readers who have never read anything by Crichton, this is a great place to start because of it's great value and great content. Highly recommended to anyone who likes action, suspense, and good science fiction thriller!

Summary: Congo
Review: I read Congo. It is a great book. It has an excelant writing technique. The storyline is terrific. It is pact with intense action filled parts. Even though it was fiction it seemed as if it could really happen. I couldn't quit reading until I was finished. When I was finished reading I wanted to go back and read the good parts over again, because they were so good. The things that I didn't like however is that it seemed to drag on from part to part and it had some swear words. The book is about a team of people that went into the Congo Jungle, to get diomonds, the whole team of people was killed in less than three minutes. In Houston they watched, and saw everybody dead. So what do they do they send in another team. This book is very adventurous during the good parts I didn't want to put it down. It was kind of scarry how everybody was killed so fast and how it might be able to really happen. The intended audience for this book would be for adults. It is not a childrens book. Because it goes into detail during some parts of the book.

Summary: A Must Buy, If You Haven't Already Read Them
Review: This collection houses three excellent Crichton novels: Sphere, Congo, and Eaters of The Dead. This volume is definately worth buying if you haven't already read these books. Sphere is one of his best books, the best in this collection. It is old-school science fiction with a modern twist! A must read. Also, Eaters of the Dead is an overlooked item in the Crichton canon, very different from his other books, but any MC fan will like it. It is a new reading of Beowulf (if you're into that). Congo is his classic novel celebrating it's 20th anniversary this year. All three books are must reads. That is, if you don't already have them. If you do, then there's no reason to buy this collection, as it offers basically nothing new. A must if you haven't though!
