Review: It was an extremely interesting book. Well worth reading and I think the ending was very appropriate. Probably my second favorite by John Grisham with The Rainmaker just barely coming first.

Review: John Grisham is the worst writer ever. He gives us no reason to remember either character or plot once we've turned the page. This book, like, I assume, all of his books,is a complete waste of time.

Review: Even though I consider A Time To Kill his best book ever, The Partner was still a great book until the ending that is. It didn't make any sense.

Review: Crisham proved to me once again that he is one of our greatest contemporary fiction writers. Not only could I not put it down, but I was not emotionaly stable for a whole day after the ending is revealed.

Summary: Good but certainly not as classic as The Runaway Jury
Review: Yet another super novel after "The Runaway Jury" by John Grisham who has certainly lived up to his reputation as one of the world's most popular author. The story revolves around Patrick Lanigan, partner at a growing four-partner law firm who has everything he could think of, a lucrative job, a lovely family and a bright future. But not for long! He stumbles on the firm's dark secret and discovers that one of its client has been deceiving the government and the IRS by overcharging in a millitary contract. He dies in a car accident, but only six weeks after his death, $90million disappear from the firm's account. The whole world believes him dead, but the firm knows that he was on the run. A shrewd private private investigator tracks him down in Brazil. The firm and the government want him to lead them to money but only a friend of Patrick can lead them to the money. So, Lanigan is cutting out a deal with FBI to get the charges against him dropped in exchange of exposing the Firm and its filthy client.

Summary: GRISHAM'S MOST ENTERTAINING IN A WHILE!!
Review: AFTER JOHN GRISHAM'S FIRST 3 NOVELS, I THOUGHT HE COULD BECOME ONE OF THE GREATEST AUTHORS EVER. HE THEN WENT DOWN HILL AND COMPLETELY DISAPPOINTED ME, EVEN THOUGH I CONTINUED TO READ EACH NEW RELEASE. THE PARTNER WAS A TURNAROUND. AS WITH ALL HIS NOVELS IT MOVES VERY FAST AND KEPT MY ATTENTION. I LIKED THE STORY LINE MUCH BETTER, ALTHOUGH IT DID BECOME PREDICTABLE. THIS BOOK WAS GOOD, BUT COULD HAVE BEEN GREAT. THERE IS NOT A TON OF CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT BUT THE STORY WAS GREAT. A GOOD FAST READ.

Review: "The Partner" was a good fast read. It was entertaining from beginning to end. Some will be disappointed because the "love interest" is distant and only touched on. The ending surprised me, and I admit that I was a little disappointed. BUT A GOOD READ!

Review: Grisham's story grabs you from the very beginning and does not let go until the last lines of the novel. Ingenious ending, will upset most readers, but it'll keep you thinking for days after you finish reading.
