Summary: Excellent, Couldn't Stop
Review: The daughter of a friend of mine gave him and I this tape to listen to while on a business trip. It was the first experience either of us had with books on tape and my first experience with Mr. Grisham. We found the tape to be extemely exciting and when we would stop for gas or what not, we couldn't wait to get back in the car. I thought this was an excellent book and it has led me to listen to other Grisham books on tape (The Rainmaker and The Street Lawyer) while commuting to work. Keep up the good work Mr. Grisham

Summary: A 90million dollar scandal, a dead body, & a lot of fun!!!
Review: Though I have only read two books by John Grisham, I am already hooked! His wide vocabulary, use of description and great talent for dialogue keeps the reader interested. "He closed his eyes fiercely and clamped his teeth together in a determined effort not to scream, but gave up after a split second and let out a piercing shriek that was heard through out the cabin." Grisham's huge imagination is a key factor to why his description and imagery is so realistic and his choice of words will awe and fascinate you! The other novel written by John Grisham I have read is "A Time To Kill", which is just as pleasing and well written as "The Partner". It is no wonder that both of these books are #1 NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER! His love for writing is more than evident in both of his books. Grisham's talent for dialogue is more than wonderful and amazing. He uses it as a tool to make the book more interesting and realistic. His dialogue is just right, and not confusing at all! If there was one thing I could possibly think to critcize him for, I would, but this book is so well written, so well liked, and so magnificent that if he were to change anything in this book, it would probably do more harm than good! Rating this book I would have to give it a 10 out of 10! His humor, imagery, dialogue and witt makes this one of the best books I have ever read!

Review: John Grisham is a master of legal thriller. Reading is very nice until the end, when it happens what the reader predicts. Unpredictable is the missing of Eva.

Review: I'm only 16 and I loved the book. It had a fluency to it that allowed me to enjoy it without even thinking about the time that was rolling by. JG is a master. I've read all his books and love each one.

Review: the partner by john grisham is one of his best books, however it could have certainly done with some more drama and surely with less of the running around. based upon the same theme of lawyers, this book deals with the delima of a lawyer-to-be-a-partner in a big shot law firm, who finds that the firm has some black money - hidden from him and won illegally from a case against the government. the rest of the story continues with him on the run, back from the dead, trying to evade his ex-partners and their hitmen. how he survives and suffers is another gruesome story. a must read for grisham's fans

Summary: One of the most suspense-filled novels I have ever read.
Review: Grisham keeps you reading and reading. I couldn't put the book down. The suspense is riviting. The character of Patrick Lanigan is very unpredictable and one of the smartest I've ever read about. Highly recomended.

Review: It was a good book. I liked the way the plot folded and unfolded before me. But one thing that was very vague was the way that it related the partners to Patrick. Overall the book was good.

Summary: John Grisham (understatement...) is one of the top ten best!
Review: I loved this book, as I have loved all of John Grisham's books, and I can't wait, EVER, when I finish reading them for a new one to be published. I read them faster than he can write them. The only reason I gave this one 4 stars is because of the ending. I knew, though, before I got there, what was going to happen, but being the eternal optimist that I am, I wanted a different one. Keep them coming John, just faster!!!

Summary: one of the most satisfying books i've read!
Review: A slow start(I almost did'nt continue) but by the fourth chapter, I could not put it down. It was such an interesting story with an interesting ending. No movie(Yet) but I'm sure it would be a top seller. All of grishams books are excellent, but this one surprised me the most.
