Rating: Summary: Thrilling! Review: This book somehow put me at the edge of my seat. Just when I was ready to predict the end, I was wrong. I felt like I was punched in the stomach at the end. It was great.
Rating: Summary: One of his best Review: I've been disappointed with Grisham from time to time but this book was not a "let down" in any way shape or form. Who wants to read predictable books all of the time? The ending was fabulous. Mr. Grisham, thank you for leading us down one path and then taking a 90 degree turn at full speed. What a thrill.
Rating: Summary: I loved it !!! Review: One of his best books yet. I just couldn't put it down. It's amazing the way Grisham turns a civil law suit, which is supposed to be quite boring, into something so full of action. A masterpiece!
Rating: Summary: It is just entertainment people. Review: For all the people that rated this with 1 or 2 stars - Get a life. It is entertainment and that is all. Isn't reading about relaxing? Relax. Don't think into the book too much. I thought the book was very entertaining however unbeleivable some people think the outcome may have been. I think if someone is planning something long enough that anything is possible, even jury manipulation.
Rating: Summary: The end is a let down Review: I have been a loyal Grisham fan ever since I read A Time To Kill. And, Grisham's The Runaway Jury held me right until almost the very end. And then I experienced the biggest let down I've ever had in a Grisham book. I felt disorientated and dissappointed. I don't always want some sappy, kissy, happy ending, but I expect at least some consistency from beginning to end. I felt no sympathy for any of the characters, and if this was the desired effect than it worked like a charm. The only thing that compares to this let down is when someone told me the ending of The Chamber before I was three chapters in. I have decided to read The Partner; but if this one is as big of a let down, I'm done with Grisham.
Rating: Summary: Suspenseful Legal Thriller Review: A very satisfying read. Once the trial starts the roller-coaster ride is on, and what a thrilling ride it is. Why this hasn't been made into a movie is beyond me. Chilling and awesome.
Rating: Summary: Greatest plot ever Review: Grisham at his very bes
Rating: Summary: Furnishing facts by enveloping them in a lawsuit Review: what a book !!!!! Gave me dreams even after 2 years of having read the book, i say it's not usual grisham, something tells me that the facts given are just so interesting but being boring themselves the grisham garbage of sleazy offices and repugnant lawyers does a good job to make it a page turner. All in all it's not another grisham mundane but an informative masterpiece.
Rating: Summary: The best courtroom thriller I've ever read Review: I really appreciate John Grisham's storytelling, because he can always add a little piece of suspense till the end of his books which are all amazing, with one exception - The Partner.I liked especially this book. Though this one is the "slowest" amongst the others it is a real page-turner. I simply couldn't stop reading it. The characters are well designed and the plot is ingenious. So if you want to have a sleepless night, don't miss it!
