Summary: I can't wait for the movie!
Review: I imagine Nicholas a lot like John himself. This book kept me thinking the whole time, even when I was not reading it. I think there is a little of Marlee in all of us girls. This could be another big movie.

Summary: Another great book by John Grisham
Review: I found this to be like many of his other books, but that is a compliment. I find his works to interesting and entertaining. I had a hard time putting the book down. If you like human interest type books with some mystery, you'll really enjoy this book. I would recommend it highly.

Summary: An Audio Book at its Best
Review: The genius of the audio book is Bantam Doubleday Dell , and Michael Beck. Mr. Beck is a master reader, able to put unique voices on over a dozen people. He communicates fear, anger, and cunning in a way that let's you know the characters, even those you may not want to invite home for dinner. Bantam's audio production of the tape is extremely well done. A high quality recording with just the right amount of music, sets the mood. This is the best audio production I've heard for any audio book. Combine all this with Grisham writing and you've got an audio book that won't let you go!

Summary: I COULD NOT PUT IT DOWN!!!
Review: This is my 5th Grisham book I have read so far and I have no intentions to stop. This can be said as Grisham's best if compared to his older novels(it is full of suspense!) . I spent about 4 days reading the book and I finished it at 4.15 am on the last day. I could not tear myself away from the book, I was addicted to it, just like the smokers were addicted to the cigarettes. The story begins with Nicholas Easter as the main guy, and seemed to be the one behind a very strange plot to use the jury to his own monetary advantage. However, a girl appears and it becomes clear that she was behind this sinister plot. And yes, the jury is been manipulated, maybe controlled, by whom?-is easy to figure, but why? -was the reason that kept me stuck. Read it and you will not regret.

Summary: Keeps you going
Review: This book was on a table at the beach house we rented this spring and I made the mistake of picking it up. I started to read it and found myself not able to put it down.Fortunately it rained a lot that week and I was able to finish the book.It was an excellent story with great characters that kept you wandering what would happen next. This book got me interested in reading again. Since then I have read The Partner and plan to read more Grisham.

Summary: Awesome! Grisham's best work yet
Review: This was my third Grisham book (the others I've seen the movies) and I must say I couldn't put it down. If you only read one Grisham book, this should be it. I can't wait for the movie.

Summary: One of the best books I have ever read
Review: Once again John Grisham fabricates an exceptional read. I would recommend this book highly. This book is unique to some of Grisham's others because of the hightened suspense he does a superb job of creating. I would definitely consider this one of his top novels. If you like Grisham, you'll love this book.

Summary: Grisham does it again !!
Review: A superb novel!! Very informative..opens one's eyes to what is entailed (behind the scenes) in the huge courtroom dramas we see in real life. Though it is a work of fiction, I have no doubt that it tugs at the strings of real facts. A very suspenseful novel, certainly worth reading!

Summary: The Runaway Brain
Review: (Note: This review refers to the audio version) This is a pretty silly story that becomes increasingly unconvincing as it goes along. Although one doesn't turn to Grisham for hard-nosed realism, this tale was especially far-fetched and seemed like something he dreamed up while sitting on the can at his publisher's office. As unfortunate as the story is, it's made worse by Michael Beck's reading. His version of a Southern accent sounds at times like a bad impersonation of an English butler. For a far better and more compelling listen involving lawsuits against sinister corporations, check out the audio of Jonathan Harr's "A Civil Action". It's gripping...and true.

Summary: My favorite Grisham book yet.
Review: The book The Runaway Jury is a mind-filling book. It is primilary about one character and his mind ability of changing other jurors' attitude toward the truth. Juror number two is a grab bag of secrets a past that he has left behind. This book is based on a big tobacco trial set in Biloxi, Mississippi. The dirt the lawyer do to win the case is also a main part of the story. As a student I recommend that teachers let students read the book. It is filled with very interesting foreshadowing and figurative language.
