Summary: Excellent, but not his best.
Review: For 500 pages almost nothing happens, the goodies never put a foot wrong, the baddies are always caught on the hop and the ending is the one that you were expecting (but hoped would surprise you). Nevertheless, it's so well written that I could hardly put it down.

Summary: Slow moving courtroom drama
Review: I have now read all but one of Grisham's novels. I found this one intersting. The jury's verdict was predictable. Not a real page turner as his others but still a good read.

Summary: Michael Beck Makes it Happen
Review: I thought I would like Grisham's work and I certainly do. But the reader, Michael Beck gave such a performance that it is HIS work that has made me an avid purchaser of Grisham's books on audio. Beck's top ability to deliver a unique voice for each character and maintain that voice throughout the performance is second to none. He brings life and meaning to each character and each scene. It gives more meaning to the story to be able to place yourself within the setting, within the lives of the characters and Michael Beck does it and does it very, very well. Beck's performance proved to me that not everyone can be an audiobook reader.

Summary: 4.5 stars..... GREAT READ
Review: I started this book thinking the complete opposite of what the plot was acually about. I thought the book was great. THe book was the best near the beginning and end, and the end is a shock to the reader once you hear the verdict. I recommend this book to a first time grisham reader and definatly to a long time grisham reader. I LOVED THIS BOOK, i could not put it down...

Summary: Very enjoyable book!
Review: The runaway jury is an excellent book to read. The story is interesting and something new happens in every chapter. The story also builds mystery and suspense about the characters. The only problem is found with this book is that there are too many characters to follow, grisham should have supplied a pen and paper to take notes while you read.

Summary: A Total-Thrill Ride
Review: This is the first Grisham novel I've read, so I can't compare it to his other works. I highly recommend this book, but you should know some things going into it. Make sure you don't have plans in the near future, cause you're not gonna want to put it down. Also, if you don't want suspense, don't even think of buying this! There were several times when my jaw nearly hit the floor just from reading a line or two. If you're prepared for that, though, I strongly recommend that you read this book!

Summary: the best by far
Review: I called this the best, simply because this is a different Grisham novel. Not only it describes the dirty tricks used by the cigarette companies, it also puts the focus on the jurors themselves. It is not a normal courtroom novel that flows around the lawyers or prosecutors. You will rethink that juror is also important during a verdict. A totally new experience, and completely satifactory reading.

Summary: THIS IS A GOOD COURT DRAMA
Review: IF YOU LIKE COURT DRAMAS THIS IS A BOOK FOR YOU, IT STARTS OUT SLOW BUT BY THE MIDDLE OF THE BOOK IT STARTS PICKING UP STEAM. AND IT KEEPS YOU WONDERING WHATS GOING ON, AT FIRST WHEN I STARTED READING IT, IT WASN'T AS INTENSE AS MOST GRISHAM NOVELS BUT THE MORE I READ THE MORE I GOT COUGHT UP IN IT.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Another book changing the way I look at things, I live.
Review: Ever thought if candy producers have contracts with dentists, or tire fixers hiring naughty little brats for throwing nails on the street.See the blue print of the lawyers' works to hide or surface the hidden signatures under these contracts signed between the cigarette producers and all the people who do the dirtyer part of their business.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: A great book, with a predictable ending
Review: I thought this was a great book, but the ending was too predictable. It carried a different kind of suspense than other books of Grisham's, but that isn't always a bad thing.
