Review: This was the best book I have read in a long time. The political/suspense nature reminded me of a Clancy book, however the readability was much easier without giving up the complexity of the plot. I would encourage everyone to read this book. His first book was good as well, but he has really taking off with this second book. Have a great read!

Summary: Transfer of Power
Review: This guy writes Tom Clancy books better than Tom Clancy! He gives enough technical detail that you certainly know he has researched his subject, including weapons and hostage situations, but without over doing it like Clancy often does. The behind the sceens look at the white house, with the secret passages and rooms, as well as a pretty believable hostage situation, really make this a great read. I almost didn't buy this book because so often hostage stories get long and drawn out, with not much action. This book, however, is full of action.

Review: Transfer of Power is the second book i read by Vince Flynn. The plot moves along at a pretty good clip and has enough twists and turns to keep you guesing. Being a former govt. agent, i found that even though the plot was outalndsh it had enough procedural/operational authanticity to entertain even me

Summary: Don't start this if you're busy!
Review: Holy smokes this was a GREAT book! I made the mistake of starting it during a very busy week. I'd read late into the night until I couldn't hold the book anymore, then turn the light on early in the morning and read until I HAD to get up. What a ride. The very day I finished this book, I checked out "Term Limits," the author's first book. If you like Washington-based thrillers, clear your calendar and get this book!

Summary: The ultimate thriller
Review: Transfer of Power never lets you down, from the first few pages to the very last. There is always constent action, and the bad guys in this book make it 10 times better by the way they carry out there plan. Once you start this book, you won't want to put it down, you become submerged in the action that is going on and at the end of each chapter the author leaves you hanging and makes you read on to the next chapter. The characters are very well devolped and there is a extra bonus since there are mostly the same characters as in Term Limits,(which I also read and I though was excellent)and vis versa for people first reading Transfer of Power then reading Term Limits. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes nonstop action that never lets you down.

Review: An excellent follow up from his first novel. I found this book very hard to put down. Flyn does an excellent job telling a very entertaining story. If you like action than this book is for you. Tom Clancy, watch out!

Summary: A book that reads like an action movie!
Review: This book was simply impossible to put down! I felt as if I was watching an action movie as I read. As other reviewers have pointed out, I was able to see the similarities immediately to Air Force One! This book tops Term Limits and that book was also a fast and exciting read! I hope Vince Flynn contues to write such page turners in the future!

Review: If you like great fiction be sure to read Transfer of Power. Once started I couldn't put it down. Vince Flynn has a way of making the action alive with details that only a great writter would incorporate. After reading you almost think it was an real event. I can't wait for novel #3.

Summary: Don't pay attention to the Kirkus Review....BUY this book!
Review: I don't know what the reviewer from Kirkus was reading because this book was very well thought out with some interesting twists and turns. The author is very good at showing the reader what is going on rather than telling the reader and that makes for a very interesting book. Add to the author's abilities the original story line and you end up with a rewarding read.

Review: As others have stated, this book IS better than TERM LIMITS, and I thought TERM LIMITS was great. Flynn is the new master of this genre.
