Summary: Good but....
Review: While I did enjoy this book, I can't help but wonder what happened to the Sandra Brown who wrote French Silk, The Alibi and Unspeakable? Those were REAL page turners!

Rating: 2 stars
Summary: Another Brown disappointment
Review: I have loved Sandra Brown's books in the past, although her two most recent attempts have left me wanting more. This book continues to disappoint. I skippped through much of it because Brown did not flesh out the characters enough to make me care about them. I thought they were boring. I did not care about them, and there was hardly any romance. I didn't understand why they even wanted to be together. I hate to beat up on Ms. Brown because I cherish her earlier books and often reread them. I do understand she is writing more mainstream fiction now and when I read the plot on the book jacket it sounded excitng, but it ended up a lackluster waste of money.

Summary: decent book, but not one of her better works
Review: I did enjoy reading this book, but compared to some of Sandra Browns others, I was somewhat dissappointed. I never felt I really knew the character "Melina" and wasnt overly impressed with Chief. At times the book drug and it was all I could do not to flip to the end just to see how it ended. Not all parts were boring, and for the most part the book was good, I just wasn't satisfied with the end. Usually when I finish one of SB's books I say "why did it end so soon". With this one I said "what was up with this book".

On my grading scale of "would have paid twice as much", "buy it now", "wait for paperback", "go to the local library", or "you can use it to start your fireplace", this book was a solid "wait for paperback".

Summary: review from Jennifer Allen, Madison, Al.
Review: I have never been a fan of Sandra Brown and this is the first book by her that I have read, but what a great book! I couldn't wait to get to the end to read the surprising twist and conclusion! This is a can't-put-down book!

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: An exciting, quick read!
Review: I really enjoyed this book, as I have most of Sandra Brown's other books. This was a real page turner, and it kept my interest all the way through. The plot seems simple but just when I thought I had it all figured out, BAM, something else comes up I was not anticipating! It is a good, quickly moving story, and I did like it better than her last book, Standoff. (Probably because it was much longer and seemed to be a better storyline.) I have come to like Ms. Brown's novels better now that they are more than just steamy romances..I like the action she has incorporated in this book and others, like Witness, Fat Tuesday, Exclusive, and Alibi. If you liked those, you will enjoy this one, as well. Good job, Sandra Brown.

Summary: A Great Read
Review: I bought this book on Sandra Brown's name alone...I have always enjoyed her style of writing, and I especially enjoy her mysteries.

I had a difficult time putting this book down, however though the ending was assured, I felt a few more pages would have completed the book. The concept of mind control over the masses was intreging, as to were the twin element. I would definitly recommend this book.

Summary: Want the old Sandra Brown back.
Review: In case you read these reviews Ms. Brown, could you write another romance novel for your diehard romance fans like me? You are the best! I don't enjoy the murder and mayhem in your latest books.

Summary: Sandra Brown's at her best!!!
Review: Sandra Brown's newest release--THE SWITCH--is Sandra Brown doing what she does best--giving her fans another page-turning, edge-of-the-seat story with lots of suspense, passion and heart. There's a reason I buy anything with Sandra Brown's name on it--she's one of this country's greatest writers!

Summary: SANDRA BROWN IS ONE OF THE BEST NOVELISTS EVER BORN!
Review: Well, well, well is that right? Another Sandra Brown novel? The lady only writes about 5 novels a year? Have you ever heard of anyone who can write that fast and have all of her novels be exploding blockbusters? One name: Sandra Brown, the romance and now the MYSTERY queen of the year! I only read mystery, romance is not appealing to me since I'm a guy. I recently read Fat Tuesday, Unspeakable, The Alibi, and Standoff, (the remainder of her mystery novels), and loved each one of them. Well on August 29, I went out and bought THE SWITCH! I thought that this novel couldn't be better than her other ones. Well, I was sooo wrong. The Switch was everything I could want in a novel. Melina and Gillian Lloyd are two identical twins. One a real estate agent and one a personal assistance. They are very different. Gillian wanted to to have a child but her lover, Jem, had had a vasectomy, thus making him not able to have a child with Jillian. So Jillian went to a clinic and decided to have artifical insemination. Well it turns out that there have been many women across the world who have had the same thing done with them. But what many of these women don't know is that there is a very powerful religious person who feels that he should be the God or Hitler of the world. He believes that if he SWITCHES a donor's sperm with his sperm than he will be the father of the next generation. He and his assistants will kill anyone in their way including Gillian Lloyd. The reason Gillian is murdered, (I am not giving any secrets away, all this can be read on the flap of the book) is because she recently had sexual intercourse with a man shortly after the artifical insemination process, which screws up the possible chance of the "religious person" to have his child. So it is up to Melina Lloyd to find out who killed her sister and to bring down a very powerful group along with the help of the FBI and the local police. This is Sandra Brown at her best, which I have to say about all her novels, because she is always at her best! Can't wait for her next novel!

Summary: Another bestseller for Sandra Brown
Review: Gillian and Melina Lloyd are identical twins who look so alike no one can tell them apart. Gillian thinks hard before making any decisions while Melina rides an emotional spur of the moment wave. When the sisters meet for lunch, Gillian informs Melina that she has been artificially inseminated that morning, but had to wait one week to learn if she is pregnant. Melina persuades her sibling to replace her and escort Native American astronaut Chief Hart to an honorary dinner.

Gillian reluctantly agrees, but enjoys her evening with the sexy space traveler. However, the next morning two police officers inform Melina that her sibling is dead. The prime suspect is Dale Gordon, a worker at the clinic where Gillian underwent fertilization. However, Dale too is dead after an apparent ritualistic suicide. Neither Melina nor Chief believes Dale murdered Gillian. Rather than wait for the law to investigate, the duo begin their own inquiry into a powerful worldwide church that Gillian's significant other was a member of, an organization that might be linked to certain crimes.

Every time Sandra Brown writes a new novel, it automatically reaches the top of all the best-seller lists. THE SWITCH will do likewise. The action starts on the first page and never lets up until the book ends. This leaves readers with a feeling of satisfaction as if they have ridden one of the better roller coasters on the planet. The thriller chills because the story line seems plausible.
