Summary: Terrific New Writer Scores Big With This One!
Review: As of late, I have been enjoying the new offerings of a lot of notable and exciting new writers in the literary world. I think Ms. French is an outstanding new talent and I look forward to reading her other two novels. As a mater of fact, I just ordered them from Amazon. If you enjoy romantic thrillers CHASING DEMONS is the book to read! (Highly Recommended!)

Review: Ms. French has a unique writing style all her own. I find that refreshing. After enjoying her first two novels (Chasing Horses & Wayne's Dead) I was eager to read the third. What a BLOCKBUSTER she has created with her newest offering of romantic intrigue, 'Chasing Demons.' The characters are real to the reader and the plot held my attention until the finish. A most impressive combination. I plan on rereading this book for possible consideration in my next film.John Savoy

Summary: Nail-Biting Suspense!
Review: I totally got into this book and read it straight through without interruption. The chapters where Tony tracks Kendra and they "face off" were so suspense-ridden, I couldn't read fast enough! I loved the way the author portrayed Kendra's growth - from a woman who had been dominated and abused by her husband, Tony, to a woman fiercely determined to be free of him. The chapters that delve into Garth's and Kendra's evolving relationship are a complete opposite and welcome respite to the ones dealing with Tony and his brutally manic attempts to find his wife. I've read all three of French's books and each is fast-paced and without extraneous detail - which I prefer. I am eagerly awaiting her next book and wish she had more in print. Call me a fan!

Review: Christine French is such a fantastic writer! I'll take this new writer over a lot of the old ones! Her stories are fantastic! Once the reader starts one of her books they are quickly pulled into the world in which Ms. French has created for them. I am so impressed!!! Pat yourself on the back Ms. French you are fantastic!!!

Summary: Would Love to See This as a Movie
Review: "Chasing Demons" has all the elements of a thrilling movie: romance, suspense, action, good vs. evil, a woman who is willing to lose her life in order to remain apart from her abusive husband, a man who is seeking forgiveness for a tragic mistake, a beautiful love story, an evil, violent man tracking his runaway wife, and a killer with a heart of gold. The story is well-paced and kept me entertained throughout. Another reviewer referred to this as a page-turner, and believe me, it is. There is nothing disappointing or lagging about this book. I loved it!

Summary: Thrilling Book!
Review: After reading "Chasing Demons", all I can say is, make sure you have time to read this book from cover to cover when you start, because it's one you'll get so caught up in, you will not want to put it down. It's just thrilling - especially when the author moves the story into high-gear - when Tony gets an inkling as to Kendra's whereabouts and goes after her. The love story between Kendra and Garth is gentle and caring, a complete antithesis to what Kendra experienced with her abusive husband Tony. Tony's demented efforts to locate his wife are filled with violence and brutality. Ms. French is an author who can hold a reader's attention, no matter what she is writing about. I would love to see more by her. Exceptional book.

Review: I am a huge fan of this writer and have been since her first book was released (Chasing Horses) and in my opinion, Ms. French keeps getting better and better as a writer! She has the unique talent to be able to write in any genre. If you enjoy page-turning suspense mixed with the perfect blend of romance then CHASING DEMONS is the book for you, it gets my vote for BOOK OF THE YEAR!!!

Review: Bravo, Ms. French, for another high quality precisely paced read. Chasing Demons is superb reading entertainment at its best. This story line of fate tainted by the stench of evil is jet propelled with richly deft and supple writing. The story is one of danger, passion and soul as the abused wife of the mightiest Southeast kingpin, Tony Salvatori, loses her unborn child at her husband's hand. Kendra (Angel Salvatori) finds trust, safety and her own inner strength through new relationships. Escaping to a barn located in the hills of Black Mountain, North Carolina, Kendra falls into the safe and loving care of a man named Garth. Unsure of what to do with the discovery in his barn, Garth calls his friend Thad, a nurse practitioner, to help determine the next step and with this the fascinating story begins to unfold. An impressive assemble of keenly developed characters draws you in and refuses to let you go. Chasing Demons demonstrates the superior range of this talented author.
