Review: I give Ms. French high marks in the suspense genre for her engrossing "Chasing Demons." I was pulled into the story from the first page and held completely captive until after I read the last page. The romance part wasn't bad either! I loved it as a matter of fact! I think you will too! Summary: Strong Message
Review: This book deals with a woman who has lived with an abusive spouse for years and her efforts to get away from him and then become strong enough to face him. Kendra is a great character - a woman with a deep faith and will of iron. The tormented Garth is a perfect counterpart to Tony, Kendra's husband. My favorite character, however, is Vince - Tony's bodyguard - a man with a hardened past who sees himself as protector of the innocents of the world. Really liked the way the author developed Vincent. As someone who has experienced first-hand domestic abuse and its sequelae, I heartily recommend this book. It's a fabulous read, with a lot of realism.

Summary: Plenty of Action and Suspense
Review: I don't normally read romantic suspense, but liked this author's book "Wayne's Dead" enough to order this one, along with "Chasing Horses". "Chasing Demons" not only provides romantic suspense but plenty of action, as well. I really like what Ms. French did with the characters here. She has a flair for painting a physical picture of each character with as few words as possible, yet it is easy to visualize each one. I also enjoyed the mental growth Kendra undergoes as well as Tony's escalating descent into madness. Garth is my favorite - a man of quiet strength and inner turmoil who becomes passionate in his zest to protect Kendra from her brutal husband. Wonderful book!

Summary: This Author Has Become a Favorite
Review: I received "Wayne's Dead" as a Christmas present and liked it so much, I ordered Ms. French's other two books. I really like this author - each of the two books I've read so far are so fast-paced, I didn't want to put the book down once I started. She's great with her characters and the action scenes in "Chasing Demons" are the best - suspenseful and tight. Cannot wait to get started on "Chasing Horses". This author goes down as my newest favorite author.
