Summary: Werewolf of the century
Review: Everything about this book works just right... Hero is unique, and a treat as a PI. Heroine's job fit the plot perfectly, and made the ending great. Enchanting and fascinating read. Can't wait to read the rest of the series.

Summary: KILLING MOON FANTASTIC !!
Review: Fantastic!! I've always loved a werewolf and your book made him user friendly. Thank you, I'm looking forward to more private fantasy reading. JAM in LAS VEGAS.

Summary: Disappointing
Review: For a book about a werewolf, there's not much attention paid to what it's like to BE a werewolf, other than the need to undress and chant the magic words. There are only the briefest encounters between Ross in wolf form and Megan. So why bother having Ross be a werewolf? He could have just been a regular guy.

The trouble is, if he's a regular guy, then there's no magical attraction to make Ross and Megan come together. And aside from that magical attraction there's not much development of a relationship. Instead there was a lot of time spent detailing Ross's past and why he's so determined to avoid getting romantically involved.

I finished it, but won't be reading more.

Summary: A great werewolf novel!
Review: For the most part this was a fun book to read. There was one small subplot that I thought a bit pointless at the end, but it was still worth the 5 star rating. If you have never read a werewolf romance, try this for a start.!

Summary: Failed to spark my interest...
Review: Having read Rebecca York's novella about a werewolf in the Cravings anthology, I decided to give her Moon series a whirl. However, I am disappointed with Killing Moon. Ross Marshall is a private investigator who has a rather unique way of finding missing persons. He is a werewolf and his senses help him solve the most unsolvable cases. But an old case has gotten him into trouble. Now the detective he's helped solve cases suspects that Ross had killed a most-wanted murderer some time ago. To make matters worse, there's a new serial killer on the loose, and this one is determined to find the owner of the "dog" he'd found sniffing around his property. But what Ross definitely doesn't need right now is finding his life mate. Genetic researcher Megan Sheridan has come along in the worst possible time for him...

The story seemed promising, but it failed to spark my interest. The plot development and characterization didn't pull me in. Also, the serial killer's motive for raping and murdering women was far too simplistic for me. To me, a good suspense novel has a complex murderer. I am also disappointed with the werewolf in the novel. What I like about paranormal novels is that the supernatural being in question -- whereby a vampire, werewolf, faerie or a witch -- is unique beyond human comprehension. The whole ancient chanting thing here just didn't do it for me. I read about it in Burning Moon, the novella in Cravings, but this time it did nothing for me. I am not attacking Ms. York's writing, but Killing Moon simply failed to impress me. I shall give the other two parts a whirl anyway, for I bought them along with this one and was told that they're better than the first installment. I hope so...

Summary: Amazing!!
Review: I couldn't put this book down. I don't usually read werewolf books - but this book was so much more than just a werewolf story. The strong characters were well developed. I can't wait for the next book.

Summary: Excellent Were Novel
Review: I have been reading and collecting vampire/lycanthorpe novels for years, and I really enjoyed this story. It's pretty much a romance novel. Ross Marshall is a private investigator and a werewolf. While working on one of his investigations, he is badly hurt. He makes it home, but passes out. Megan Sheridan is a researcher that Ross has hired to run some genetic tests. She has no idea that these genetic tests concern the fact that Ross is a were. Megan makes a quick trip to Ross' home and discovers him unconscious on his floor. She helps him to recover and during this time feels a growing attraction to him. Ross, while also attracted to Megan is afraid to get close to her due to problems in the werewolf gene. At the same time the case Ross is investigating is becoming more dangerous and getting too close to Megan. I really enjoyed this story and the characters and I would highly recommend.

Summary: Killing Moon by Rebecca York
Review: I just finished
reading "Killing Moon". Figured that it couldn't be
half bad from an author who wrote the "43 Light
Street" series (My extra special favorite series).
Well this surpassed that series triple time. The set
of Moon books will always have a place of honor on my
shelf. This was a very exciting, fast moving
and memorable book. The feelings and thoughts of the characters comes right out at you and you understand how hard it is for them to make the right decisions. I look forward to reading the rest of the series.
