Summary: Pulse-pounding romantic suspense!!
Review: Author Dee Davis has made an impressive debut with AFTER TWILIGHT. I really enjoyed this book. Kacy and Braedon were very likeable people and the author did a great job of bringing them to life. There are enough twists and turns to make any suspense reader happy. Don't miss this one!

Summary: Steamy romantic suspense
Review: Dee Davis is one of the few authors today writing romantic suspense - a genre which seems to be overlooked by many publishers but which readers are crying out for.
"After Twilight" is an engrossing novel with the heroine, Kacy Macgrath, fleeing from her abusive husband who has walked out on her. He later meets his death under suspicious circumstances as a result of which Kacy takes refuge in Ireland staying in her grandmother's cottage which she has inherited.
Enter Braedon Roche who is chasing Kacy as he believes she is an art forger.
The novel gives an attractive escapist picture of Ireland, and against this backdrop, Kacy and Braedon play out their romance. Dee Davis creates some enchanting and realistic love scenes and the plot twists and turns with Kacy fleeing from her enemies who have managed to follow her to Ireland. Some scenes are pleasantly scary as Kacy tries to keep her former husband's cronies at bay. Both Kacy and Braedon are attractive characters. It's easy to see how they could fall in love with each other.
Dee Davis' second novel, "Just Breathe" is even more exciting.

Summary: A disappointment.
Review: I have to say that I was disappointed by this book. The characters seemed very 2 dimensional. Both the main characters had a past but they were able to get past them a little too quickly for my liking. The female was weak and looking for a man to save the day, which is just what the man wanted to do. It was too sickly sweet for my taste. There were a few twists and turns and I liked the Irish setting, but for the most part I ended up skimming.

Summary: Stunning suspense and a fabulous romance!
Review: I loved Dee Davis' Everything In Its Time...and Ms. Davis has done it again with After Twilight! This is a marvelous romantic suspense that will keep you on the edge of your seat! If you start it in the evening, plan to stay up into the wee hours, because you won't want to put this one down!

Summary: Wonderful romance and suspense!
Review: I LOVED this book! It takes off like a rocket and keeps you on the edge of your seat through the satisfying conclusion. Often romantic suspense seems to go overboard one way or the other. Not this book! The romance and the suspense are perfectly balanced ... and the hero is yummy!!! Highly recommended!

Summary: WOW!! fabulous suspense; super sexy hero!!
Review: I picked this book up on a whim, and boy am I glad I did! The hero is an absolute dream, and the suspense kept me on the edge of my chair. I guess the only downside is that I stayed up until three in the morning, because I HAD to finish it! Great book! I'm off to see what else Dee Davis has written!

Summary: Intriguing romantic suspense
Review: In Southampton, Kirstin Madison argues with her husband Alex before he angrily walks out of their home towards the nearby dock during a nasty storm. As she watches the dock and her spouse vanish into the sea. Kirstin learns ugly things about her deceased husband. She changes her name to Kacy MacGrath, and flees to remote Lindoon, Ireland.

Two years later, her past has arrived in Lindoon unbeknownst to Kacy. American art dealer Braeden Roche has left New York to prove Kacy is a master art forger destroying his gallery. Rico "Professor Baucomo" Gionolli is trying to learn how much Kacy knows about her dead husband's true occupation with forgeries surfacing everywhere. Finally, Alex's twin Max has just left jail planning to kill Kacy for killing his sibling. Whom does she trust especially since her heart failed her once before and Braeden is so attractive looking?

AFTER TWILIGHT is an intriguing work of romantic suspense. The story line provides the audience an opportunity to understand the lead couple and the prime secondary players. The tension mounts as the three "visiting" males play chess with Kacy being a sacrificial pawn. Dee Davis furnishes her audience with a winner reminiscent of the sub-genre's top gunners.

Summary: NOT A WINNER
Review: It looks like I must be in the minority in my opinion, but I found this book totally unsatisfying. I didn't care for the heroine, could not connect with the hero, the story line was not at all interesting and the writing was almost juvenile. Was this DD's first novel? Do yourself a favor and skip this one and go directly to DD's "DARK OF THE NIGHT". Now that is a good book and a keeper!
