Summary: Sandra at her best!
Review: This book was terrific-to say the least. I read it in less than a day. It kept me on the edge of my seat because of her captivating dialogue. Even though the plot is a bit out there, she still knew all the twists and turns to take to actually make you think it could happen. I've read almost all of her novels and even some of her short romances, but I certainly like her novels most by far! I recommend this book to anyone who has a few hours of spare time because you're not going to want to put it down!

Summary: Caught in the pages, a terrific suspense novel
Review: This is a terrific novel, and probably one of the best suspense novels I had read by Sandra Brown. In other novels by SB, I can pretty much guess where it's headed, and to a certain extent I did with this too, but I wasn't quite prepared for how caught up I was with the characters in this book until I heard myself quite literally gasping in horror at some of the suspense filled pages.

I especially liked how Ms. Brown kept dividing chapters from present, to flashbacks, and into the mind of not only the heros, but also the villians. It gave you better insight of what motivates the characters, and the thin line between good and evil, hero and villian.

The characters are beautifully written, and I found myself swept away from the very first page. I love that in a book!

Summary: Easy To Read--But the Author "Cheats"
Review: This is an easy to read, enjoyable book. Which is a credit to the author's skill. What I feel is "cheating" by the author, is the fact that the main character holds back information from the reader. The main character has a history that explains her actions, but we the readers don't know the history until the end of the book. It is a silly way to write a book. She builds suspense based on the fact that we have to keep reading to find out what the main character is going to tell us what she already knows. It is frustrating. A clever way to write, is to have it happen to the main character at the same time we are reading it

Summary: LOVED IT!
Review: This is my first book by Sandra Brown, and it was great! There were enough twist and turns in this story to keep you reading.....I loved the way she slowly developed Kendall and John's relationship, and allowed John to slowly deal with his feelings about children... Matt's relationship with his very poor excuse for a father, was one that makes you take a long hard look at your own relationship with your kids.. The character "Ricky Sue", although she always had Kendall's best interest at heart, she nearly cost her besfriend her life, with one stupid mistake, but I think she learned a hefty lesson from it all. In my opinion her biggest problem was putting to much trust in people (in her case the wrong people) and having very low self-esteem.....I look forward to reading more of Ms Browns novels.

Summary: Fantastic
Review: This is my first experience with Sandra Brown and I loved it! This book had all the recipe for a great suspense. First, tough characters, great plot and fantastic story-telling. It was everything that I need to spend one afternoon and believe it or not...I felt tired after reading it. Like enjoying a full-speed ride.

Summary: Great Read!
Review: This is my fourth Sandra Brown novel and although it was a quick, hard to set down read, I like this one the least of all that I've read so far. (Others I've read are The Alibi, The Switch and Exclusive.) The plot is fairly predictable and characters are not developed and described enough for my liking. BUT... this is still a great book and worth every minute spent reading. My favorite Sandra Brown is still The Switch.

Summary: Loved it!
Review: This is such a great story! It has just the right amount of suspense mixed with romance. The author makes you feel as if you really know these characters (unlike other authors I've read). There is never a dull moment in this story and I highly recommend it.

Summary: I'm a Sandra Brown Fan now!
Review: This was my first book by Sandra Brown. I can honestly say I've been looking for more of her books after having finished this one almost non-stop! It was very suspenseful, had hidden twists and unexpected surprises. And don't forget the romantic parts! Those were really good!
