Summary: Very Good Read!
Review: If you're looking for a supsense novel - you will enjoy this book. I saw the reviews on Amazon and decided to take a chance. I was glad that I did! You can't help but fall in love with Tess (Theresa) and J.T. The only thing that kept me from giving 5 stars, was because some of the story line with Marian (the sister) and the two elderly ladies moved a little slow. In the end, both of these plots paid off nicely. The beginning is great, the middle gets a littel slow, but keeps your attention. Then as you get 2/3 of the way done, you will not be able to put this book down. Be prepared for a long night if you pick up this book!

Summary: Slow Start With a Powerful Middle and Ending
Review: A young woman (Tess) discovers her husband (Beckett) is a serial killer. He is imprisoned, but escapes. Deciding this time to protect herself, since the police protection last time didn't do it, she hires a reluctant mercenary (J.T.). By accident, J.T.'s sister (Marion) gets involved and she just happens to work for the F.B.I. A trio of dysfunctional adults who at one time or another have had to deal with the issue of abuse and the consequences at some point in their lives. As they gear up for a confrontation with Beckett, these past issue slap them in the face time and again forcing them to deal with them. The Perfect Husband starts out slow, but gets your attention shortly after. Once your hooked, you'll be unable to put down this "edge of your seat" thriller.

Summary: A real thriller!
Review: I first started off reading Lisa's book "the other daughter" and found it truly engrossing. I was far from disappointed by this one, which I would have to rate as even better than the first. Lisa Gardner has the ability to keep the reader awake at night, and yearn to turn the pages... The characters came alive in my mind as the pages turned, the plot was well researched and exquisitely thought-out. This is a real thriller that makes you wish she'd hurry up and finish writing the next book!

Summary: Bold, Blunt Writing, a Great Suspense Novel
Review: Having read The Other Daughter several months ago, I was initially shocked when reading Perfect Husband. Gardner's style in Daughter was calm and subtle, and I happily expected more of the same in Husband. This novel's language was bold, blunt, and it made me blush more than once! But I absolutely loved it, could hardly put it down... Teresa, a seventeen year old cheerleader, unknowingly marries a serial killer (Jim) who is also a police officer. Teresa and her mother were physically abused by her father, and Jim portrays himself as a man who would take her away from all that pain. Over the course of three years, Teresa puts together clues that lead to Jim's arrest as a serial killer. Jim escapes from prison twice, but this time, Teresa refuses to play the victim. She enlists the help of a former U.S. Marine and his sister, an FBI agent. If you're looking for a fast-paced novel with lots of entertainment value, this is the one!

Summary: Great Book
Review: This is a very good book. Lots of action. Exciting storyline. Believable characters. Of course the husband is anything but perfect. There is some sadness in the book too. You'll think about this when you reflect on the book later.

Summary: The Perfect Husband
Review: This book that I read was a real good book. I'm not into reading books, but this book I defidently recommend. I give it 4 stars. The book was about this woman who wanted to get married. She meets Jim Beckett, they fell in love and got married. she thought he was everything she wanted him to be, or so she thought. As the years go on she finds out that he is not so perfect after all. She finds out that he is really a cold blooded killer that murdered a dozen woman. She puts him behind bars, but he escapes from prison and tries everything to find her. The only person that can save her is an ex-marine. When Jim escapes that's when the terror begins.

Summary: Looking forward to Lisa Gardner's next book!
Review: the author did an excellent job developing the characters. The characters were very believable. This book kept me on the edge of my seat. A lot of action. The only complaint I had was that the main character became weak at the end. She thought too much and didn't react like a normal person would under the same circumstances. The story was a perfect read until the main character lost her backbone. But I do give Lisa Gardner, she did make up for that lapse in judgement. Over all a entertaining read. Looking forward to Gardner's next book.

Summary: WHAT AN IMMAGINATION
Review: I have read THE OTHER DAUGHTER FIRST AND WAS VERY, VERY IMPRESSED BY LISA'S BOOK. OF COURSE I HAD TO READ HER FIRST OND AS WELL. I HOPE LISA WILL BRING OUT SOME MORE BOOK AS I THINK, SHE IS REALLY, REALLY GOOD IN IT! VERY EASY TO UNDERSTAND,VERY COLORFULL WRITTEN BUT STILL LEAVES THE READER PLENTY OF SPACE TO HIS OWN IMMAGINATION. I AM VERY IMPRESSED AND HOPE TO SEE THE NEXT BOOK OUT VERY SOON!
