Continually escaping authorities, Beckett knows that no one will ever be able to catch him. Gardner does an extrodinary job of portraying a killer. The romance that was mixed in was intense and erotic, but didn't take away from the suspense of the story. Pick it up!

Summary: Steamy and suspenseful
Review: This book is why you read these types of books. It has everything: the suspense, the love, the heart pounding sex. This is an uninhibited look at two lovers, who have one too many secrets between them. I usually read these types of books in one sitting, this book was so good I could barely sit still. I really hope there is a movie about this - maybe staring Meryl Streep.

Review: This book was sooo good , I can't believe it hasn't turned into a "Lifetime Channel movie" yet!! You'll want to stay up and read until it is finised.. give yourself about 20 pages to really get into it and then you'll be reading all night! It ended perfectly ,no lose ends .. A perfect mystery romance book.. This is the first book I've read by Lisa Gardner, I hope she'll be writing more like this. WOW!

Review: The night I finished A Perfect Husband, I slept with the light on and a death grip on my husband's hand; this book scared the beejeezus out of me! Lisa Gardner created a book that is ingeniously scary and powerfully written. The day after I read the book I ordered her whole catalog. Her books have been worth every penny.

Review: This is my first book by Lisa Gardner, and it will definitely not be my last. This book grabs you from the beginning and won't let go. Once you pick it up, good luck putting it down. I loved the characters and Jim Beckett is one creepy villian and a master of disguise. You'll be looking in the closets and over your shoulder when you read this one!

Summary: A little light reading - NOT!
Review: I picked this book up to read at the beach, thought it would provide the light reading I like to do while laying out in the sun. I've read one other book by Lisa Gardner and liked it - didn't love it. This one, though, grabbed me from the very beginning. It had everything: a heroine easy to identify with, a BIG BAD to scare you to death, and a complex and very sexy hero to die for. I'm ashamed to say that I actually swiped the book from the beach house my family stayed at so that I could finish it! This is a really good book. I've just picked up The Next Accident to follow up with.

Review: Outstanding, this is the first book I have read by Gardner, and will buy more. This story was faced paced and interesting. It is great to read about stong female characters taking control of their lives. The story between Tess and JT is strong, I like how they both heal each other, however am surprised with the out come of JT's sister. Unable to put this book down, and can't wait to start my next book.
