Review: Jim Beckett is far from the title, "The Perfect Husband." He had been the exact opposite since the day after their honeymoon. Now, years after he beat her almost to death, and two years in prison, he's out and seeking his revenge on Theresa and those who put him in prison. He didn't only beat his wife, but raped and brudally murdered several people; several blonde women. Theresa was horrified with what he had done and turned him in. Even the prison couldn't hold Jim because he's out and ready for a dead body in his hands; his former wife's body. Theresa wants to protect the life of her daughter as well as herself. She seeks out J.T. Dillon, a former marine and a retired mercenary, to train her into a fighting and killing machine so that she may have a fighting chance with her husband. Lisa Gardner has another great book. Full of suspense, horror, and terror, this book will force you to beg for your life along with Theresa in her fight against her "perfect husband."
