I chuckled, got teary-eyed and, most importantly, DID NOT stop turning pages until I finished this book. Wow! This was my first by Karen Rose . . . I'm buying more.

Rating: ![4 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-4-0.gif) Summary: as odd as this sounds: solid serial killer romance Review: High Point, North Carolina is gripped with fear as a serial killer is in action. State Bureau of Investigation Agent Steven Thatcher vows to bring down this predator killing children. He knows first hand how parents feel as his preadolescent son Nicky was abducted, but fortunately rescued though six months later mental scars remain on the lad, his dad, and his teenage brother Brad. He takes a break from his obsession when Brad's chemistry teacher Dr. Jenna Marshall asks to see him. Brad's grades have collapsed and Jenna is worried about him. Jenna has other problems with threats from a wealthy father who demands she reinstate his failing son back on the football team. Still she finds she is attracted to Steven, who feels the same way. As they fall in love and he tries to uncover a killer with high level protection, a relationship seems impossible. Not only have both have suffered from previous relationships, his children remain traumatized by the abduction. Though there is too much angst coming from too many directions that overwhelms the reader, but once adjusted fans will appreciate this solid serial killer romance. The story line is driven by the cast not just the lead couple. The woes of Brad and Nicky as well as relatives of victims like Sheriff Braden pull readers into the tale as much as the stars do. Jenna is a delightful ethical protagonist while Steven shows how a big person can be gentle and kind contrasting to the father of the benched football hunk. HAVE YOU SEEN HER? will please sub-genre fans as Karen Rose provides a deep tale. Harriet Klausner

Great Serial Killer/Love Story Review: I am an avid fan of true crime books and events involving forensics. I usually only read non-fiction books, but a friend of Karen Rose told me about his book so she let me borrow it. It is wonderfully written. The characters all have interesting detail and just enough development. The serial killer cupped with the love story was perfect. The love story was not too mushy and scenes were written very well. I could imagine this entire book in my head. Once I got to about the middle of the book I didn't want to stop reading. It was hard to put down. This will definitly not make you fall asleep while reading. This should be made into a movie. I am now going to read "Don't Tell", her first book. If any more books by Karen Rose come out in the future I will definitly read it.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Exciting, Chilling, and A Good Romance Review: I bought this book because I liked "Don't Tell" so much. Ms.Rose uses the same sense of immediacy in this book as in the other. The story was very well plotted and I had no idea who the killer was until the end...Well I thought I knew. But she totally had me fooled. If you enjoy a good suspenseful mystery with a great love story, like I do, You will not be able to put it down. Better than a movie at half the price.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Even better than "Don't Tell"! Review: I liked "Don't Tell" which is the prequel to this book and this is a great second book! We revisted some characters from "Don't Tell" and I'm hoping Ms. Rose will write a sequel to this one, perhaps about Neil?
Rating: ![4 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-4-0.gif) Summary: Wow! Read this book! Review: I picked this book up on a whim and wasn't expecting anything more than an afternoon's diversion. I was very pleasantly surprised, and will be picking up Ms. Rose's first book immediately after posting this review. I'm very impressed with this author. Her characters are complex, their relationships aren't smooth and their reactions are completely believable. The mystery was well-done and the suspense level was high throughout. There are a lot of minor characters, and several sub-plots, a couple of which fizzle out but for the most part, Rose keeps a handle on everyone and doesn't leave any important threads dangling. I'll be eagerly looking for her next book, and hopefully many more to follow.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: A Great Discovery Review: Karen Rose does a terrific job of creating realistic, complex characters. Main characters and secondary characters have real reasons for their behavior. Watching Jenna and Stephen work out their relationship while both resolving their pasts and catching a serial killer keeps the reader focused on the novel. I couldn't put it down. Rose's pacing is excellent, and she moves back and forth from the romantic leads to the mystery effortlessly.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Spectacular Review: Karen Rose is amazing. She is one of my favorite writers. If you love Sandra Brown, Judith McNaught and Tami Hoag's fast pace suspense style of writing then Karen Rose will blow you away. She doesn't ramble on like some authors tend to. The chapters are short and to the point w/ great character developement. This book is one of the best Romantic Suspense I have ever read. I read her books faster than any others.
Rating: ![4 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-4-0.gif) Summary: Have You Seen Her Review: Ms. Rose has done a wonderful job with "Have You Seen Her?" It will keep you on the edge of your seat! With well-developed characters that you will come to care about, you are drawn into the story as if you were investigating it yourself. That's what a good mystery is all about. Bravo.
