Summary: Good job!
Review: I think the book was well written. The main characters were strong yet caring and sensitive. Most importantly, the book was a pager turner; held my attention throughout.

Summary: Wonderful book!
Review: I'm so glad Sir Drake has finally found the woman of his dreams, cause I was worried about him. I just wish it hadn't played out with Tori deceiving him at first about her true identity. But all in all it ended with them being together happily ever after. I can't wait for Christy and Alex's story.

Summary: A great story
Review: I'm very impressed with all Brenda Jackson novels and this one ranks right up there among the rest. It's a Madaris novel and is as steamy and adventerous as all the rest. It's a story of a man who never got over the woman that stole his heart and now once again it's up to him to protect her once he relizes that she did'nt actual die on a mission for the CIA. It's a great book and I suggest you start at the beginning of the Madaris series so you will know where all the stories characters fit in.

Summary: AWESOME READ!!!
Review: Mrs. Jackson could not write a bad book if she wanted to. I have been reading her for years and have no intentions of stopping. I too am awaiting the story of Christy and Alex, it has been brewing long enough. I also cannot wait for the Madaris Saga. I sold the first book that she ever wrote before I even was aware that it would be part of an ongoing series, now I am kicking myself in the butt because I want to again read the story that started it all and it is priced entirely too high as a used book. So now I will have the story when the saga comes out.

I would recommend everything that she has ever written because she has not let me down in almost 10 years of reading.

Summary: Late in the Midnight Hour
Review: Once again, Ms. Jackson does it again! This time with "The Midnight Hour." Action packed drama involving the daring and tough Drake Warren. He is a combination of Rambo, Steven Seagal, Denzel Washington, Larry Fishburn, Jean Claude-Van Dam and Arnold. Oh, but Drake is definitely Drake. I loved the action and the quick wit thinking of not only Drake, but his love and cohort, Tori Green. These two have definitely had lots of action in their lives, but through it all, their love along with the help of the Most High, has brought them through. Tori has kept secrets from Drake, but not because she is trying to deceive him, but because she loves him. However, when all is said and done, just before dawn is the midnight hour. The time when things definitely takes shape. Tori and Drake have experienced a lot around the midnight hour -- some good and some not so good. However, after the midnight hour, then the light comes through.

Ms. Jackson also brings the Madaris clan and their friends back in this story. Drake, Trevor, and Ashton are close friends of the Madaris, who value family and their friends. So, the reader gets a glimpse of them as well.

For all those Brenda Jackson fans who have not read this book, read it before the new release of the next Madaris book involving Christy Madaris and the handsome Alex Maxwell.

Review: This was a great book. It has been a while since we have had the pleasure of the Madaris men, but it was worth the wait.
