Summary: How Will The Cradle Fall?
Review: When you think of a James Patterson # 1 New York Times Best Selling novel, you, as a fan, would think of a mystery, and a little humor. Cradle and All, Patterson's revised version of his earlier title, Virgin, exposes him in his most physcotic state yet. With all the twists, shady characters, and dark secrets behind every corner, Patterson is bound to keep you squirming to turn the page. As I read this book, I couldn't believe my eyes as Cradle and All filled my mind with wild fantasies, strange daydreams, and the occasional nightmare, a sign of a good thriller.
It all starts as Polio breaks out among kids across America. Soon, virgin teenage girls are becoming impregnated with the son of christ and the son of satan. See, I told you that Patterson keeps on the edge. Vatican City priests try to help these girls out. Only one way to solve this mystery. Read this book. Cradle and All by James Patterson. New York Times # 1 best seller. You can't go wrong there. Five out of five stars. I give this novel my Full recommondation. Truely a mystery that cannot be missed.

Summary: Short but good
Review: The forces of good and evil converge. Two young virgin girls are both about to have a baby. One for good and one for evil. The church is not sure which one is which and therefore, moves to protect both until they can determine the evil one.

The author builds on the reader's sympathy by making both girls highly likable. It is almost unthinkable that one of the two's babies will need to be destroyed. Great suspense!

Summary: Incredible Novel
Review: Cradle and All is the best novel I've read in a long while. It had me guessing all the way and the ending just shocked me. I thought this was a well written and wonderfully suspenseful Christian thriller. Loved it!

Summary: Every now and again, a rediscovered book is a best book
Review: James Patterson is one of the world's most prolific and mind-bending authors whose works twists and turns and captures the reader's mind and thoughts. Cradle and All is another James Patterson novel that keeps you racing through the pages as you try to figure out....Well, then that would be telling the end. Highly recommended.
Cheers...

Summary: Read this one last
Review: Vaugely entertaining and highly predictable, this was quite a disappointment. I love the Alex Cross series and most of Patterson's books.

Today I was reviewing my orders, I saw this one in history, and had to pull up the description to remember if I'd gotten and read the book; that is not my normal reaction to a Patterson book. Wish I'd bought it used!

Summary: A quick read.
Review: I've read the other reviews and believe that people are being a little too hard on this book. I really enjoyed it. I've read almost all of James Patterson's novels and feel that this one ranks near the top. Not so much for the realism, but more for the suspense and excitement. I really couldn't put this book down and read it in only three evenings. I appreciate the fact this book is unlike any of his others. James Patterson takes risks with his story telling, this is why he is one of my favorites. Add a little diversity to your life and "believe".

Summary: Not realistic like other novels This one u know is fiction
Review: Unlike Patterson's other books that you can read imagining the plot could actually be real you have to step your mind to the side with this one and read it as pure fiction. Two virgins fall pregnant and one is supposed to be the antichrist and one the world's saviour. Which one is which, is the question here. One is a poor girl living in rural religious heavy, Ireland and the other a spoilt rich kid living in North America. Both claim to be virgins but are they telling the truth? Religious leaders get involved and want the mother of the antichrist killed. Of course other characters in the book want nothing but to protect the girls. Which one is carrying which baby?

Definitely the least good Patterson book out there. If it wasn't written in Patterson's short chapter style it probably would be a lot harder to want to finish it. Unless you're into religion and believe the plot could maybe happen this book will probably be a bit far fetched for you although it does come down to earth near the end.

Summary: Characterization? I think I'll pass!
Review: James Patterson does a passable action story, and I can see that his books would translate well to film. On the other side, characterization is almost non-existent. The action in this book involves events surrounding the "virgin" pregnancies of two teenaged girls, closely scrutinized by the Catholic Church. The protagonist is a former Catholic nun, turned private detective, and hired by the church to watch over one of the girls. Presumably, one girl will give birth to the Saviour, and the other to the anti-Christ. The story gives hints that either girl could give birth to the anti-Christ, despite twists and turns and a reasonable amount of action. What is missing, is any sense that the author has attempted to develop the personalities of these two teenagers, or even of the nun/P.I. . Much more work would be needed to convince me that the author has ever even conversed with a teenaged girl, much less had any idea how one thinks or feels. Internal dialogue is a huge thing for understanding young women, and there is none of that here. So, if you're looking for an action book with a religion-entwined plot, you may enjoy this. If you're looking for any depth of character, religious thought or emotion, look elsewhere.

Summary: It was the worst James Patterson book I have ever read.
Review: I really did not like this book. I kept on reading it because I figured it would start to get better somewhere along the line but that was not the case. I did not care to read it after a while. I wasn't even exicted about reading the ending. Don't even bother buying this one.

Summary: Could not put it down!
Review: This is a great book. I could not put it down. The ending has some great twists and turns. would highly reconmend.
