Rating: Summary: Funny, perverse -- a really great read!! Review: The cover and synopsis of this book made me think I was in for one giant treat! I expected the story to give me the seedy, albeit humorous, side of Hollywood. (Is there another side?) However, early on I realized that while this was an entertaining read, there wasn't much substance to it. The story was a bit trite and artificially put together. I enjoyed the characters and definitely found myself laughing at times, but overall, I didn't buy it.

Rating: Summary: Funny, perverse -- a really great read!! Review: This is absolutely one of the best books I've read this year. It is a dark, perverse comedy set in 1998 Hollywood. Just read it!!!!!
Rating: Summary: A note from the author Review: Those who've read and enjoyed "Best Actress" may be pleased to know that E! Entertainment Television is producing a cable TV movie version of it. It's scheduled to air in Spring 2000, right after the Oscars. There will be some changes (there always are), but the film promises to be a witty, inside peek at Hollywood's Oscar mania. Thanks to all who enjoyed the book and posted comments. And to my harshest critic (see NY Reader, April 1999), SUFFER sweetheart. I'm glad E! likes the book more than you do!
Rating: Summary: The book was as trashy as Tinseltown itself Review: When I bought this book, I was expecting big fun and seedy but sohisticated humor. I recieved neither. It was a trashy account filled with sex in almost every chapter (I felt like I was reading Penthouse's stars edition) No real substance or care for the characters, which is important. I really dont recomend it, your better off watching E! and renting a porno.
