Rating: Summary: Not Bad.... Review: I enjoyed Jack and Cassie story. It was a little different then the other O'Malley stories, but I found it just as entertaining. I really wanted to hear more about some of the other O'Malley's, however, learning more about Rachel was a good trade off. All and All I thought Jack was a real sweet heart. The thought that he loved Cassie just as she was was awesome. Faith came easier for Jack then it had for the other O'Malley's but then it was more O'Malley's working on him. I enjoyed THE PROCTECTOR!! I would just love to read another O'Malley wedding or better yet, what is going on with Dave & Kate, Lisa & Quinn, Marcus & Sherri. I just have so many questions I want answered about them all. I can't wait to read the next book about the O'Malley's
Rating: Summary: boring boring boring Review: I have to admit that I was extremely disappointed in this book. Jack and Cassie are both very nice pleasant people who have existed in thousands of other Christian books. Their friendship I believed, their growing love I believed, but any passion? Um, no. They had a flat, poorly written kiss or two and i was supposed to believe that yes, they were attracted to each other? The "mystery" was laughable. There was supsense, yes, right up until Henderson wrote a short paragraph from the (then unknown) villain's viewpoint showing that Cassie was in no danger whatsoever at that point. GOODBYE suspense. And then, just in case you were feeling a little scared, Henderson soon gives us another paragraph or two from the arsonists viewpoint---and please don't tell me you didn't now who he was, why else would a new, totally random and unheard of and "desperate" viewpoint be in there for half a page? Rachel does her best to show up in half the scenes and as she has no character she is boring as well as annoying. The other O'Malleys are dragged in unnecessarily as well, poor souls. They seem more and more stupid and clingy with each book. Jack and Cassie really deserved a better book.
Rating: Summary: A good book Review: I liked this book, but I liked the first three more. The plot was another good one. Firefighting is another interesting job, but I would have liked to see her focus more on Jack and Cassie and less on Rachel and Cole. Sometimes it seemed to be turning into their story. Still, the mystery was good and the characters are always enjoyable.

Rating: Summary: The Protector Review: I read all of the O'Malley Series and enjoyed each. I like Dee's sense of humor throughout the writing. She should embellish on the other characters, the brother, etc., a good, fast read.
Rating: Summary: Great book in a wonderful series Review: I recommend this book to anyone who likes to read fiction which includes aspects of a daily Christian walk. The whole series is exciting and inspiring.
Rating: Summary: Continuing with Dee Henderson Review: I thought this novel was the best yet in this series by Dee Henderson, and I look forward to the next one due out this summer.
Rating: Summary: A riviting addition to the series. Review: Jack O'Malley was a fireman who had seen it all! Or so he thought. An arsonist began targeting his district and his shift. Each fire set by the arsonist had messages. Each message escalated in intensity. It was obvious the firebug knew things about how a fire operated that the untrained public would not know. The possibility of the arsonist being someone he knew hurt! Cassie Ellis had been a firefighter until she was hurt during a rescue operation. He faith in Jesus got her through the trauma of being severely burned. When she saw the arsonist, she became the obvious person to work the crowds at the fires in hopes of spotting him. Jack and Cassie become closer than they ever had before. Jack began helping Cassie's thoughts of her scars. Cassie began helping Jack believe. ***** A riveting addition to the series! Each book of the O'Malley series is a story in itself. Each book tells the story of one of the unique O'Malley family. This novel, like all the ones before, are full of action, suspense, and a touch of Faith. Dee Henderson's magical pen combines the allure of Thrillers, Romances, and Christian books to make one of the best series I have ever read! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Rating: Summary: More Suspense than Romance Review: The first Dee Henderson book I read, the Truth Seeker, impressed me. Henderson skillfully wove the story together, including both suspense and romance. Henderson is better at writing mystery than romance, though. Unfortunately, after reading the first Dee Henderson book, I felt I had read them all. In all the books, the main character gets in a suspenseful circumstance, the bad guy is caught, and the good person marries the person he/she has learned to love. Of course all the characters are portrayed as perfect, or nearly so. Another common thread in all the books is the main character's acceptance of Christ. However, I enjoyed reading the suspense. In this book, Jack, a firefighter, gets himself into many dangerous situations the job requires of him. The firefighters and police are tracking a dangerous arsonist, who paints violent murals and puts popcorn kernels inside the doomed buildings before he burns them. He burns the buildings in a random pattern, as well. If you like reading Christian suspense and some decent romance, you should read this book.
Rating: Summary: I thought about firemen for days after reading this book.... Review: The O'Malley's is a great series of books and this one compliments the series very well. I especially enjoyed the personal interaction that Dee Henderson seems to be so good at. I suppose I will never pass a fire station with out thinking about this book and that dreamy Jack. This one had a great story line and lots of other stuff going on around the main story. I liked it.
