Rating: Summary: This time it is Lisa and Quinn........ Review: This continuing saga of the O'Malley clan focuses on Lisa. I love the way Dee Henderson has created such a diverse and rich family unit with the O'Malleys. A noted forensic pathologist to her peers, Lisa is the one the family sees as always getting herself into trouble. The trouble this time is very real, and in the end helps her come to some life changing decisions. Dee has a wonderful way with words, and I especially like the way she has artfully told a few scenes in this book in retrospect. Just read it and you will see what I mean! Another plus about this series is that you can start with this story and it won't mess you up to go back and read the others. While the family steps in and out of each others lives, their devotion to each other is a constant theme. One book about the O'Malley's and you will definately want to meet the rest of them!
Rating: Summary: Suspensful, humerous, and FUN Review: This is one of the better O'Malley books (Negotiator and Guardian are the best). Finally, we get Lisa and Quinn's story. Lisa O'Malley is a fascinating character. She's nice, but not very open with people, loves her pets, and tends to become very involved with her work. As she is a forsensic pathologist, this sometimes involves murders. She also has a secret or two of her own.A man is dead in his house, which was found burning. Suicide...or murder? Lisa's department has ordered a re-investigation of all unsolved murder cases in hopes that new equipment will yield more information. There's something odd about some of the cases. Quinn, Marcus's partner from The Guardian, is trying to solve his father's murder by locating a girl he believes may have seen something, a girl who disappeared the day his father was killed. And someone's out to get Lisa. The plot is excellent. I was never confused, and the action parts were interspersed with enough "people" scenes that I was never bored. I loved Lisa and liked Quinn (although he screws up at one point he admits it). Humor, suspense, mysery, and romance are nicely mixed. The four stars instead of five is because: (1) the automatic men-protect-women attitude that came up once or twice is maddening, (2) Quinn seemed too calm at times, and (3) there are too many other O'Malleys in the book and their closeness is nice but not when they start appearing in every other chapter. It is still a great book. Read it and enjoy!
Rating: Summary: Another Great Book Review: This is the 3rd book in the awesome O'Malley's series written by Dee Henderson. I loved the story of Lisa and Quinn. The two were made for each other. I just love how Dee brings romance, mystery, faith together in this story. You have to believe that a person with Lisa's background could struggle with the Resurrection. Quinn had his work cut out for him trying to keep Lisa safe. Trouble is Lisa's middle name.
Rating: Summary: The Truth Seeker Review: This is the third book in the O'Malley Series and I would have to say that it is the funniest out of all seven of the books. Lisa and Quinn have to help solve a case that leads back into the past. But this is not only about work and no play. Lisa finally accepts dinner from Quinn and a relationship starts building, but not without some bumps along the way. The book also mentions what's happening with the other O'Malleys. Nothing can possibly stop this mysterious, romantic, and funny book from making its way into your heart. Read it. Dee Henderson knows whats she's writing about.

Rating: Summary: Michele Review: WOW!!! Just when I thought it couldn't get any better. I love this family!!! Lisa and Quinn are very good together and the title of the book has a double meaning. Lisa is not only a truth seeker about people's death, but she's a truth seeker about the Ressurection. My favorite O'Malley is still Jack. I can't wait to read about him and Stephen. I could read about this family until the day that I can't see to read anymore. Miss Henderson, just don't kill off Jennifer. I don't think I could take it.
