Summary: Well Done
Review: This is a wonderful series. The acting, scripts, and sound effects are excellent. It also has alot of emotion and heart which many of the other detective radio shows I've listened to lack. It's unique. It is plenty suspenseful too. The relationship between the main character Walker and Christa the dispatcher just adds another dimension to the show. Very Well Done.

Summary: Well Done
Review: This release from Durkin Hayes contains episodes from one of the best series ever presented on the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation radio service Mystery Project series. It involves the adventures and misadventures of Walker Devereaux, a 19 year old from small town Ontario who moves to Toronto to exercise his writng muse and can only get a job as a cabdriver on the midnight shift. He keeps getting involved in crimes or other messy human relationships over 24 episodes. The dialogue is uncontrived, the subplot of a shy, slow, romance with his sexy dispatcher is quite touching and the mysteries occur naturally enough so that you never question just how much crime this young man encounters. Great casting, great production values and great writing. I've been trying to track all the episodes down and this release assembles some of the best. It'll hook ya!
