Rating: ![1 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-1-0.gif) Summary: Wierd, inaccurate, and intended to push a "PC" agenda Review: This is a wierd and ghastly book, and its main objective seems to be an effort to trash the military for its "don't ask-don't tell" policy. The plot is nearly nonexistent, the dialog is trite, and the book is a bore. The protagonist is one-dimensional, as are all of the characters. I only bothered to finish it because it was the only book available at the time (I was on a boat).

Rating: ![1 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-1-0.gif) Summary: Truscott trashes the military in a mystery with no mystery Review: Where to begin? This title disappoints in several ways. First, the author's major goal seems to be maintaining political correctness while trashing the military by creating and then skewering a stereotype megalomanical general. Second, although the main character is a woman, her dialog, her thoughts and those of her boyfriend could be transposed. Gender differences seem almost forgotten. Third, if you have 100 pages left and do not know who did it, you've probably never read a mystery in your life. Fourth, loose ends abound and explanations are lacking.
