Review: This novel is a classic "whodunnit" with intricate plotting and fine writing as noted in the reviews above. In the pentultimate chapter (p. 293 of 314) the reader finds the entire slew of clues and who's mean nothing. A crazy Vietnam vet (cliche?) bent cop appears out of thin air and fesses-up. Detective Justice doesn't solve anything. I am unlikely to read more "Detective Justice dosen't solve another case" novels.
