Summary: Very Funny and Lots of Fun
Review: Maybe I liked this book better than others do because I have parents who are real estate brokers. The protagonist is a woman agent in Florida's shark-infested real estate industry. She makes a deal with the devil and the saga which ensues is very funny. Heller also uses the somewhat worn-out idea of her finally closing in on a love relationship with the guy who has been a thorn in her side from high school. However, Heller's humor carries the day and this is a good evening's light entertainment. The real estate and Florida parts of this book are dead-on accurate and hilarious. The romance aspect is ok but there is nothing you haven't read before there.

Review: The events that take place in Jane Heller's "Infernal Affairs" were somewhat hard to swallow. Her characters Barbara, David and Frances whom are to be possessed by the devil seem unrealistic. I was disappointed in this story, since the other books I have read by this author kept me reading until the book was finished.

Review: This book definitely makes you think before you wish. Heller's discussion of the reprecussions of selling one's soul to the Devil is uproarious and amusing, making this novel worthy of a read. I recommend this novel to anyone who has ever entertained the thought, "I'd be willing to do anything if only..."

Summary: Very entertaing!
Review: This is my first Jane Heller book and being a fan of Olivia Goldsmith, I was tempted to try something from JH. Well, I was certainly not disappointed! This is a very 'light' read but it is laugh-out-loud hilarious and exactly what I was looking for after a few heavy crime novels, that I had been reading. This is a great story about a very depressed woman who basically makes a deal with the devil to get everything she wants out of life. But of course this is a dangerous pact and she learns to deal with it as best as she can throughout the rest of the book. If you are looking for something to keep you laughing and very entertained for a few hrs, then pick this up, you will not be disappointed!!
