Summary: Boring, Bland, and "Out There"
Review: I am a huge Robards fan, but I was extremely disappointed in this book (as well as Midnight Hour). The main reason that I find Robards books to be so intriguing is the chemistry and love hate relationships that develop between the two main characters. And Ghost Moon is simply not it. The entire novel seems to just go on and on without ever really going anywhere. The supernatural usage is getting old. The "Bad Guy" is just TOO bad. It seems as though Robards is just trying to incorporate too many ideas into one book and it just doesn't work. What a sheer disappointment...

Summary: Forgettable
Review: I don't think Robards is sure what she's writing. If you like a light romance novel with a twinge of suspense, you could certainly do worse. But this novel is bland, and fails as a mystery or suspense offering. It doesn't give you enough clues to figure out the killer until the end, unless you catch one solitary refence somewhere in the middle of the book. But it is quietly and carefully hidden in a multitude of characters that are so undefined that they blend into the background. Don't be tempted to pay retail for this one. If you've read more than 10 romantic suspense novels in your lifetime, then trust me, you've read this one.

Summary: Disappointing!
Review: I have read all of Karen Robards books and usually enjoy them. However, this one had a cast of too many characters - it was confusing to keep track of them all. I didn't like the story content or the way it was written. There were so many characters being introduced at first and then nothing more about them, I wondered how they would all be tied into the story.

What's with all these "romance" authors writing murder mysteries now? If I wanted to read about murders I would buy murder mysteries! I wish the romance authors would write about romance instead of murders.

This book was a slow read.

Summary: Couldn't put it down
Review: I have to admit this book scared the you know what out of me. My husband was out of town when I read this. Big mistake. I jumped at every little noise for weeks after reading it! I have 2 young daughters and I found myself checking on them more often because of reading this book. I am a big Karen Robards fan. This is one of the best I've read by her.

Summary: Thrilling, chilling mystery and romance
Review: I loved this book! Olivia and Seth's love story blew me away! I thought Sara, Olivia's daughter, was a delight, and I really liked the way she bonded with Seth. When the mystery began to involve Sara, it was spine-tingling! The end was so suspenseful that I stayed up until three a.m. finishing the book, when I had to get up and go to work the next day! Give me more like this!

Review: I loved this Story it is a romantic mystery.
It Had a Good story line and Characters. A Real Page Turner Like Most of her books. The Only Drawback i found was It was a little to easy to guess who did the Crime, but it is nice to be right sometimes. :) Over all it was worth the read and I hope her next book is this good..

Summary: Didnt care for this one.
Review: I thought this book was boring compared to the rest of her awesome reads. I thought it died before it began. If you have never read Mrs. Robards, do not start on this book, any other will do.

Summary: A great audiobook presentation.
Review: Karen Robards' Ghost Moon receives a charged rendition by Dean Robertson, who brings alive the story of family secrets and a prodigal daughter's return home. A great audiobook presentation.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Slow but sure
Review: Karen Robards' new book is not as gripping as some of her earlier books but it is still a good read. I didn't find it offensive and gruesome like some of the other reviewers did. Ms Robards is not graphic nor does she dwell on the disappearances. In fact if I hadn't read the reviews, I wouldn't have known what was happening to the little girls until the end of the book. The overall story is good and the relationships develop nicely. It was highly recommended by the person who gave me the book to read.

Summary: Louisiana love story
Review: Kidnapped children, a ghostly presence, repressed memories, a passionate love affair and an evocative Louisiana setting are just some of the elements that make Ghost Moon and exciting and satisfying read.

Olivia Morrison returns with her young daughter Sara to her childhood home after a disastrous early marriage. As she quickly renews the once close ties between her and her many step-relatives, she also fights an attraction to her step-cousin Seth, now engaged to the superperfect Mallory. As Olivia grows more confident and relaxed in her new home, she begins to remember confused scenes of an early trauma. Meanwhile, the reader is aware of a teriible danger nearby.

I read Ghost Moon in one day and highly recommend it to all lovers of contemporary romance. The characters are believable and the plot is fast-paced. The kidnapper's modus operandi may be over the top but Robards keeps his identity a secret until the final chapters.
