Review: I was looking forward to another entertaining book by Ms Brown and found a disturbing inappropriate message instead. What is probably one of the number fears of parents today...kidnapping....that it was treated so lightly is inexcusible. What were Hawke's redeeming qualities? not enough for sure.

Review: I've read several of Sandra Brown's romance novels and loved them all. But Hawk O'Toole's Hostage was the best romance novel by far! It wasn't as predictable as all her other books. It had great suspense. It took many unexpected turns. I checked the book out at the library and read it three times before I had to return it. It was too good to put down and I had to reread it to catch tiny bits of the plot I missed the first time. Excellent book! You've got to read it!

Review: Okay, first I'd like to say, I love Sandra Brown's work. I think she is awesome. So many stories so many plots. What is up with people and getting riled about kidnapping?? Kids shouldn't be reading romance books anyway. Relax, its just a good, exciting, romantic book. I couldn't put it down! Bravo to Sandra!

Review: Sandra Brown is one of my favorites. This book was a very touching,deep read. It keeps you on the edge the whole time, and I like the style. I bought this from the book club, and will probably read it again in the future. If you love Sandra Brown, you'll like this one alot.

Review: Sandra Brown is wonderful. Of all the book's I read (and believe me there are many) I am always amazed at how Sandra Brown can always touch me. Ms. Brown writes in a way that really grabs the reader. Her stories are very passionate. Her character's grow. She writes beautifully. Don't let the respected opinion of some of the negative reviewers dissuade you from reading "HAWK O'TOOLE'S HOSTAGE". Judge for yourself, is what Hawk did any worse than what some of the other characters did in this story? The author does a terrific job of explaining his actions. That is not to say what he did was right, but he had good intentions and was willing to take responsibilty for his behavior.

Summary: Sandra Brown does it again........
Review: Sandra Brown to me is yet one of the best romance novels of our time. Her writing is very clever and her characters become more and more real as you turn the pages. I've read almost all of her books and there are some that I like more than others, but as soon as I read the name Sandra Brown on a book I know it's a must read. Her books keep me up all night, they make me cry, and sheer of joy. This one did just that. I loved it and I highly recommend it to anyone with an open mind for everything but most importantly romance. The real world is sometimes deceitful so why not join in with characters and books like this that draw you to use your imagination like you never imagined.........This book is a must be for all Brown's readers........

Review: The audio version of this book was rated much lower because of the very bad reading of Morgan Fairchild. Very distracting from the story line itself, which was otherwise nicely written.

Summary: A Good Read for an Afternoon
Review: The story was very good and I enjoyed this book. A little unbelievable at times, but that's what an imagination is all about. The ending was how I imagined it wood be and on a whole it was a good read. Again, too much descriptive sex throughout this book. I enjoy a little here and there, but it was overdone.

Summary: I think it was upsetting but also strangely romantic.
Review: This book is about a woman that gets kidnapped by an indian who is trying to save his tribe. This might have been the sweetest love story but lets face it Sandra Brown fans this guy was a total jerk.He kept me pissed off throughout the whole book. He was crude and mean and not the kind of guy I would call a hero or would likely fall in love with. I don't think anyone would. This one is kind of unrealistic and not what I would call my fantasy but in the end he turned out to be a good guy with a soft heart which kind of evened it out. Its not one of her best but its not one of her worst either.
