Rating: ![1 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-1-0.gif) Summary: He Sees You When You're Sleeping Review: This book is childish and does not merit having Mary Higgins Clark's name on it. It's NOT her style, but that of her daughter's . . . Carol Higgins Clark, who has written several VERY boring books. It's very apparent that mother is trying to boost daughter's ratings with the merits of her own wonderful works. Buy it used if you feel you have to read it, but you'll be ticked at yourself for paying full price! Inheritance is wonderful, but Carol obviously doesn't have it in her genes to follow her mother's writing. She should pray for a cash settlement and give up the writing.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Smooth Read Review: This book was very enjoyable. Hopefully no one was really expecting this book to be like "It's a Wonderful Life" or "A Christmas Carol." Both great stories, but "He Sees You When You're Sleeping" is on another level. Its a quick read that you will not want to put down. Yes its "sugarcoated", but sometimes that's exactly what you need, a story with a happy ending.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: SPECTACULAR Review: This was a wonderful, delightful read! Read it cover to cover in a matter of hours! Highly recommended this and all books written by both Mary Higgins Clark and Carol Higgins Clark. They are each extremely talented, gifted writers.
Rating: ![4 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-4-0.gif) Summary: Tom & Jerry's for the soul Review: This year's Clark & Clark Christmas carol is waaaaay better than last year's. Previous reviews have given the synopsis, so I won't "truffle" you with it again. I'll just add: OK, so it's not Dickens and it's not Capra, but it *is* a heart-warming toddy for the season, and there's nothing wrong with that. Tom & Jerry's for the soul, anyone?

Rating: ![1 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-1-0.gif) Summary: I Know Mom, We'll Trivialize Christianity! Review: Well, being the long-time Mary Higgins Clark fan that I am I really thought I'd like this book. But truth be told, this holiday "thriller" is a thunker. It delivers no pinache or pizazz and is written on a 3rd grade level. As a Christian, I am also unhappy with the plot. It's the most unoriginal and tired storyline I've ever read, due to the poor writing it almost is as though they're making fun of Christianity! The lead character was a self-absorbed jerk who lived only for himself and was afraid of commitment "here on earth," so the saints send him back to prove he's got a good heart. You read the first chapter and you know exactly how the darn thing will end.It is not chilling with mystery. The only criminal aspect is that the little girl this kindred spirit is to save has a father in the Mafia. They try to make it a heart-warming tale as well (which puts the hope of any book being a good mystery right in the stew pot with the burner on high). Mary does well on her own, but Carol's books are notoriously bland. The recipe for a good mystery book simply does not have "co-write with your daughter" in the ingredients. Pick up It or On the Street Where You Live for a suspense novel you'll never forget.
Rating: ![3 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-3-0.gif) Summary: Mr. Capra On The Set, Please.... Review: What if "It's A Wonderful Life" was thrown in a blender so the protagonist is the guardian angel who needs to look honestly at his life? The result is this ultra lightweight holiday tale complete with abandoned children, a heaven filled with stereotypical wacky personalities and bad guys straight out of a Three Stooges movie. It's an easy, often times enjoyable read, just don't expect deeply honed characters or a substantive story.
Rating: ![4 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-4-0.gif) Summary: Should Be Titled It's A Dangerous Life! Super Read!!! Review: What super read! I had trouble putting this one down!!! The title should be compared to the Christmas movie, It's A Wonderful LIfe but with an added twist, 'Danger...' This story will get your blood a pumpin' and your heart a thumpin'. In my opinion--a must read!
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: This is a really good story Review: When I saw that Mary Higgins Clark and Carol Higgins Clark wrote another book together I put it on my Christmas wish list in hopes to get it from family. I enjoyed reading this book a lot more that the first book that they wrote together. I thought that the storyline about Sterling wanting to get into heaven so bad and had to help grant a little girl her christmas wish to be reunited with her father and grandfather to get in was pretty cool.
Rating: ![3 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-3-0.gif) Summary: Not As Good As I Expected Review: While Sterling Brooks was on Earth he was self-absorbed. He cared about nothing but himself, and kept people hanging. Such as Annie, the woman he proposed to, but never married. Now up in Heaven he's paying for it. He's been in the Celestial Waiting Room for over 40 years, and has still yet to redeem himself. Until the Heavenly Council tell him to make good for the holidays with someone on Earth. For Sterling, it's Marissa. A little girl who's father and grandmother were put into the Witness Protection program due to overhearing a conversation between mobsters. A threat actually. Since then, Marissa has lost all her Christmas spirit, and is always unhappy. It's now up to Sterling to reunite Marissa with her father and grandmother before she gives up hope altogether. While this was a well written book, I found it choppy and not at the Higgins' best.
