Summary: James Patterson just keeps getting better!
Review: I loved Kiss the Girls and Along Came A Spider, andfelt that Jack and Jill was a continuation of alook into one mans life. Patterson created a terrific character in Alex Cross. I can't wait for the next Cross book.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Great, very Great!!
Review: I loved this book. Everything about it kept me glued to the pages. I never suspected that Jack and Jill were who they ended up being. This was definitely my favorite of all of Pattersons books.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: I Enjoy all of Patterson's Books, but
Review: I really like James Patterson's books, but each subsequent one is getting a little worse than the last. What bugged me about "Jack and Jill", was one scene where the White House aide lured a victim from a big party. The victim was later found murdered. Weren't there about 500 witnesses at the party who saw the victim leave with the killer???? It was so obvious, it was glaring..........

Summary: Good enough
Review: I think that the story of the book is a little bit out of reality, I don't think that if the president's life is threatened he will make his normal life and he will walk in Manhattan like a normal person, I also think that the people who works and live inside the White House are under investigation all the time and are followed by the security people in their spare time, so part of the story of the book doesn't have much sense. Nevertheless the book is a page turner and the end of the book, for me, was the only way to finish it, you will guess the end before you read it.

Summary: Brutal
Review: Jack and Jill is everything a thriller should be. The story is gripping, the body count plentiful and best of all, there is no sugar coating in describing the death and sex scenes. I listened to this book with great concentration, losing myself in the story and with my heart beating faster with each new murder. I loved the story, the sub plots and how it all came together. A fast read to be sure but a great one. Mr. Patterson really knows how to write them. The audio production was excellent. Two readers were used one for the first person account of Alex Cross and the other for the third person passages. I also liked the added touch of suspense music and sound effects which really enhanced the audio book to make it sound like you were listening to a movie. I can't wait now to begin Cat and Mouse and I have already ordered Pop Goes the Weasel so I hope Amazon ships it soon. A great audio mystery to add to my ever growing audiobook collection.

Summary: Could not put it down.................
Review: Jack and Jill, actually, rates a 9.9. I read, at least, three mysteries a week. This was gripping and I could not put it down until I finished it. James Patterson's character development and parallel plots keep the reader engaged every moment. Patterson makes Alex Delaware come alive as a multi-dimensional hero. I am counting the minutes until Cat and Mouse arrives from amazon. com S.M., Professor of English

Summary: This book had me stumped and, it's A very good book to read.
Review: James Patterson did a great job writing this book. When I read a mystery I usually figure out the ending about half way through, then I loose interest and skip to the end. Jack and Jill deserve a five star rating in my opinion. I have recomended this book to everyone who likes to read and, they really enjoyed it also. Jack and Jill was a book I could not put down when I read it.

Summary: Not a Nursery Rhyme
Review: James Patterson is a master storyteller. And this book is no different than his previous books. My first Cross book was Kiss the Girls, since then I'm hooked. Great plot, realistic characters combine to make an interesting and fast moving--can't put down book. I was amazed at the choose the producers selected for the up-coming movie of "Kiss the Girl". As much as I like Morgan Freeman--wouldn't Denzel Washington have been a more realistic choose for Cross. Morgan is too old and just not the right...i.e. Cross (Freeman) with young children. What will be interesting is see who is older than Freeman to play his mother and how old are the children suppose to be. Perhaps next time Patterson, if allowed, will get to have an opinion. Morgan Freeman is not Dr. Cross---PERIOD. A footnote...Until I purchased, from a resale book store, one of his previous books, I did not picture James Patterson the way he looks. (As you know there is not a picture of Patterson on the jacket.) He was a mystery to me, and it bugged me, as to who this mystery author was in general. After bringing home the book 'Midnight Club' did I first see his picture. At first glance, my husband said that he looked famaliar. And he should, because since he works for J. Walter Thompson, and that ad agency are the ones who make the "Ford" commericals. James, the Ford ads are good,(from a dealer's point) but you are a great writer. Let the other guys, like Ted Thompson handle the advertising--you enjoy your writing.
