Summary: MY FAVORITE BOOK OF THE LEFT BEHIND SERIES
Review: Incredible is how I would describe "The Mark" as well as the entire "Left Behind" series. Mr. LaHaye and Mr. Jenkins are brilliant writers and have an incredible gift of bringing the prophecies of the Bible to life. I would hope and pray that everyone would read this entire series because it is life changing. "The Mark" is my current favorite of the series because it answered some very important questions I had and also actually moved me to tears which has never happened to me while reading a book. The definition of a great book for me is one that I cannot put down until I finish, one that stirs my emotions, and also allows me to feel I really know the characters and can relate to them. "The Mark" satisfies and goes well beyond all of these criteria. Read this series of phenomenal books. You will not regret it.

Summary: Slow but still enjoyable
Review: I have been waiting on this book for months and as usual I was not disappointed. The difference with this book is that the action is much more intense and gory. The feeling that I got was that this book was getting you ready for the next one. I read this book in a day and 1/2.

Summary: Great, Powerful, and Prophetic
Review: I'm amazed at the number of reviews who think the Bible is a "story". Even educational philosophers and professionals admit that the prophesies of the Bible are coming true. Soon, those who deny the Bible will have to retract their statements because all will bow before God. I just hope they accept his love before this happens. I'm glad non-Christians are reading this and pray it makes a difference in their lives. Besides, what can it hurt to serve God? And what if the Bible is right? Make the choice to serve Him and I guarantee you will not regret it!!

I liked the reviewing of plot in this book, because it has been a while since Indwelling and I needed the refreshing. I am amazed at the brains behind these books, what an awesome task ahead. Good luck to TL and JBJ. I am praying for them and the many who are being witnessed through this series. Read it, it's powerful!

Summary: Did not hit The Mark
Review: I have read all the Left Behind series and anxiously await as each becomes available. Was very dissappointed with the latest "The Mark". I felt as if I was being preached to or reading a sermon throughout the whole book. There was really no story to the latest in the series, and felt it was just an effort to drag the series out.

Summary: Not Up to Usual
Review: When first introduced to the Left Behind series I completed the first seven books in approximately 10 days. I found them to be compelling, exciting and thourally enjoyable. I was so looking forward to #8 and literally was at the store as soon as it opened to purchase the book. I am very disappointed in The Mark. It is very slow moving, there seems to be no character development or growth. It was easy to put down and was definitely not the "compelling read" that I had so previously enjoyed. Of course I am not sorry that I read it and probably would recommend it to left behind readers however it is disappointing. I hope that more character development and story line development are in future books.

Summary: The Mark
Review: I thought the book was awesome! Many twists and turns. I thought this was the best in the series. The Indwelling wasn't nearly as exciting. On a religious note, I found it to be very accurate biblically and causes many to question their own life style. I would highly recommend it to all!!

Summary: LaHaye & Jenkins don't disappoint
Review: This is a great book. Very action packed with some moments of pure emotion. I used to be a sceptic about this subject, but every mention of the scriptures is right on and accurate. Every time a verse in the Bible would be brought about, I would look it up for myself. Even though this is fiction, the message is for real. I happen to believe every word of the Bible and this book, along with the others, have made the book of Revelation a lot easier to understand. I recommend this book. I couldn't put it down and read it in less than 24 hours. It's very good, just as the others are. I recomment the series to all. You will not be disappointed.

Summary: Better than The Indwelling
Review: Unlike the previous book, this one actually tells a story, whereas the last one seemed to be tying up loose ends; not really worth a book unto itself.

Summary: WELL DONE ONCE AGAIN
Review: Although I was admittedly disappointed in some aspects of the previous three books, The Mark corrects those errors and is a well done story once again! Where #5-7 occasionally got bogged down in technological detail in Tom Clancy-like fashion, The Mark explains enough to make the technology believable yet doesn't go overboard. Where characters were sometimes unbelievable or storylines contrived in #5-7, The Mark returns to the compelling yet believable characters of the first four books in the series. Don't get me wrong: I'm glad I read #5-7 to know more clearly what's going on with everyone, and I'm also glad I stuck with the series to see this improvement! To put it succinctly, The Mark captured my attention to the same degree as the first one, Left Behind. For the first time in several books, I found myself thinking about the characters and wondering what happened next during times I couldn't read the book. GREAT JOB!
