Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Fun Read
Review: A fun summer read that's hard to put down. There is enough food, fashion and passion to satisfy the romance reader and the story includes all those wonderful solutions to life's problems that every 40 plus woman secretly desires. I heartily recommend A VINTAGE YEAR.

Summary: Great Summer Page Turner
Review: A great book to accompany you to the beach or poolside! A story for any 40-something woman who loves great food, wine, elegant clothes and handsome young men!! Having spent more than a few weekends wine tasting in the Willamette Valley, it is apparent to this reader that Ms. Vandervort has done her homework. She needs to put out a cookbook next for all the great recipes she writes about, too. I loved this book. You will, too!!

Summary: Oregon Wine Country Revisited
Review: A Vintage Year is a wonderful visit to the Willamette Valley and the vineyards and wineries there. Without seeming to inundate one with descriptive pages, the reader finds himself visualizing the beautiful setting almost automatically, specifically, the vineyard that is the setting for the novel. The characters are likeable, charming, and believable, and the plot is entertaning. I did not want it to end so soon, and I'm hoping there will be a sequel.
