Rating: 5 stars
Summary: A Series of Sneaks
Review: Reading Stephen Moran's The London Silence is a little like walking by a series of open windows and catching all the best parts. Moran doesn't pull punches, but rather shows off mankind's naked insecurities, faults, and wonders with a confident and startlingly honest voice.

Along with a brief collection of seven short stories is the excellent novella, "All Those Endearing Young Charms," which retells its events backwards as if the film Memento were penned by a pre-Ulysses James Joyce. The purveyance of a biting dry wit is complete, and the (sometimes brutal) honesty and skill at which Moran's tales are spun is a rare accomplishment in translating humanity to the page.
